If you are in Lahore, I'll tell u a place from where you can get it aligned. I did the same and tested it for a minute or so on Motorway at 160. It went boringly straight for few kilometers. Absolutely no issues

With 13.5% annual rate, having 1.5 m only these days gives you approx 16k per month on any Islamic income fund. It will cover the fuel expenses.

Daily drive of 60-70km on vitz averaging 14 used to cost 25k/m including oil change. Ab tau straight 40% increase in a week 🤣

Last dollar rate they may have taken for calculation was probably 185. With the current trend, the next reference point they will probably take is 200. That’s an 8% increase. Expect a price increase of around 300k to 400k on the Sportage.

Looting people in the name of maintenance plus the spare parts are so damn expensive, 55k just for a side mirror. Pata nai side mirror bhi separately import karte honge

Lol, this guy is probably a manager(for parts/warranty claims etc). These guys mostly stay in the office space of the dealership but do come out in the workshop to facilitate the customers or assign tasks to mechanics. That is why, he is dressed formally.

wearing a tie on a shop floor is a fireable offense in most countries as the tie can wrap around a rotating assembly and pull the person in causing disfiguring injury or even death.

In almost all places Ive been the staff wearing ties are asked to remove them when they enter the shop area. Same with ladies with their hair down. They have to tie them up or not enter at all.

But, kya karein - in Pakistan "kuch nahi hota - jab ye marrjaiga to iss ki laash ko baahar phenk ke naya banda rakhlenge" (typical seth sahab mentality)

Kia and Hyundai parts are ridiculously priced and almost never available after a few years, Infact they usually dont have inventory of any regular parts for new cars either. They dont believe in keeping their cars on the road unlike other brands like Toyota or Honda or Mazda etc.

1000+sales tax is labour for just an oil+filter change which should ideally be free/complementary keeping in mind the premium they already charging on lubes/filters....

True. Current model of Sportage was launched in 2019, so it's already on the road for 3 years now. It is only a matter of time before maintenance issues start to pop up. And there will be no other option of sourcing parts for the owners but to look towards authorized dealers.

there is a reason why we find Kia and Hyundai vehicles with problematic mechanical issues and broken lamps and trim pieces at low cost shady used car dealerships in other countries.

The cost of the car vs cost of actual repair and finally the outcome of the repairs dont make sense due to weird prices. e.g. tail lamp assembly of an older elantra is about 800 USD, while similar model corolla lamp is about 200.

or just the hordes of their vehicles which have mechanical issues like bad chain tensioners, jammed VVT units, literal debris in the engine from manufacture process.

These are practical maintenance issues which Sportage owners shall have to face in near future. I am referring to real owners not the property dealers.

Where I live, a number of property dealers keep Sportage and Tucson vehicles, and use these for exchange during sale/purchase transactions (to make up for residual price of property). They are absolutely not concerned with any such issues. They shall get rid of these vehicles easily before maintenance problems start to show up.

No idea sir. Current forex variation is to sudden and unpredictable. Waise price girnay ka chance tau almost none hai. Increase shayad kam ho.

Sir dollar price is decreasing but it’s still higher than it was in march. But car prices are not going to change, i talked to showroom they told me that company has decided not to increase prices because dollar prices are on the course to decrease. Also they promised me to deliver my FWD in the next week without price increase.
