Well I haven't driven Sportage much and won't be driving much in the near future, as I'm mostly staying home due to current situation. But here's my feedback for now:
Features: I don't really explore and use features, but what I immediately miss in Sportage are Android system, rear screen for my kid, and front cam.
Fuel Economy: even though Turbo will be much better but it uses HOBC which is a lot more expensive.
Suspension: a bit more comfortable in Sportage and I haven't really pushed it, but of course there will be no comparison with stability of Civic.
Trunk room: I went to buy trunk mat for Sportage in my Civic and when I placed that mat in Civic it was smaller, so Sportage trunk is smaller but much higher and it also has split folding rear seats to maximize space.
Interior space: seems like Civic has more but Sportage is wider and higher so you can't feel much difference. Also seats, I prefer fabric seats and Sportage seats are softer too whereas Civic seats seem harder and uncomfortable. BUT maybe it's the driving position or apparently little bigger seats in Civic, I never ever get tired after driving Civic whereas I'm sure I will get tired after long drives in Sportage.
I don't really keep high expectations regarding quality of PKDM cars but Sportage feels slightly better. Also Sportage is way quieter than Civic so that adds to the comfort. Sportage also has better ground clearance but my Civic has done many cross country trips and I do not even recall it scraping its belly even once.
