I went to kia sialkot today. They are booking on full amount and delivering in december.

Not many stonic buyers there. They even pushed picanto deliveries to may if you book now. They are obviously desperate to sell stonic.

Well our family was looking to book grande but now since the price of grande went up by 2 lakhs were looking towards stonic ex+ is it a worth it buy considering the specs it's offering are way better I'll also go give it a test drive or atleast see thee car in person before making a decision. What do u guys think ?

Bookings are still open for both variants in Karachi. Just visited Kia motors in Lucky One mall today.

The rear seating is a bit compromised. If you are looking foe more features and safety it can be your choice but it cant compete with space , power and comfort of grande.

Stonic is a city/yaris with more features. Its not even close to a segmentC by any stretch of imagination. Civic/grande was superior cars anyday over this dinky with 99hp

Honda added the sensible difference vs stonic after this increase.. now i m sure that imc second revision is coming soon

Probably not. Honda usually prices its cars around IMC but excludes quite a few things which you then pay 4-5 lacs extra for but they come included in the price for grande such as navigation, leather and utility package.

Civic Oriel Ex-Factory Price: 4,259,000
Civic Oriel Ex-Factory Price with navigation leather and utility package: 4,436,000

And you get reclining rear seats and paddleshifters with grande.

Although Elantra is a good car as well, the only reason I wouldn't really prefer it over Grande personally is that both cars have solid rear axles so might as well go for one that has the best mechanical robustness. Build quality of Elantra is likely to be much better due to much lower localization at this stage. Later on as localization increases its quality might tank too.

But if I really had around 45 lacs in cash to spend on a car then I'd get one Alto/Cultus/WagonR AGS for just general daily use and one old Merc/BMW as an evening/weekend car.

Elantra and Corolla do not have solid rear axles.

after the price increase elentra and stonic are the most perfect options and these 2 are almost in the same price range after registration. what should i go for stonic ex+ or elentra and any update on whats the delivery date of elentra if i pay full amount

Elantra price will be revised v v soon. Stonic is too overpriced for the engine and size we are getting

In all pkdms toyota has the best paint finish. Elantra has plastic everywhere inside -in doors.. where is quality lol

You are choosing between apples and oranges. Choose whichever car suits your requirements. If you don't need big cabin and boot space but want a feature loaded car then yes Stonic is an option to consider. If you want a car with bigger engine and bigger space then go for Elantra.

Even though they are similarly priced, they both serve a completely different target audience. Choose based on practicality.

that what KIA Lucky Motor is trying to do but here everyone comparing with Yaris, City and even with Altis/Civic. I think Stonic is 4-5 lacs overpriced even with these features.

They modern day name for those is torsion beam.

Torsion beam doesn't make it a solid axle. A solid axle is found in something like a Land Cruiser or a Jeep Wrangler.

as far as I know both current Corolla and the Elantra in Pakistan have torsion beam on the rear.

10th generation Civic have Multilink rear suspension. Corolla switched to Multilink as well on the newer 12 generation.

Yes it is and the overseas 12th gen Corolla is lowered almost 2 inches and with wider track comparing the 11th..
