Guys i just want to know that is it possible for my uncle to send me a laptop from USA to PAK here in Khi through TCS or UPS etc.
How much the freight will cost.?custom duties ?

This is the best way to send it. Ditch the box there and have someone bring it as a personal item on their carry-on. I had my sister bring my laptop for me from Canada.
The price will be high ---through the postal services, wait for some person who can carry from US.
Here in Pak, Pakistan Post will tell you all the things which you have been never told ---- LOL.
from US it is best option to hand carry the laptop.

The freight cost alone would be minimum $200 and make the purchase unfeasible relative to purchasing from Pakistan. Moreover its also risky with respect to potential damage during transit, custom duties, etc
You can check freight cost at websites of DHL/Fedex
In case of shipping you have to pay shipping+Insurance+duty. It won't be cost effective for you. Never ship any box to Pakistan without insurance and tracking otherwise you will never see it again.

TNT,DHL are fine i think but should check if theres any custom duty.
But no matter how cheaper u are getting it there in USA. Its better to bring it as personal baggage or buy it there in Pakistan.

i asked my unlce to send me a Sidekick mobile from Canada, he said that shipping charges are $150, luckily he's coming in March.
