first of all @carbus dont compare liana with corolla, corolla is fuel sucking monster because of it size check out the owners of honda civic 1.8 they will tell you that 1.8 civic's mileage is almost the same as 1.3 xli or gli vvti engines aren't the symbols of fuel economy it means"variable valve timming" both GMC and Toyota currently using vvt engine secondly you've said that your liana gave 522 with rpm all time over 3 so if you would have had drove it slowly or on long root what wolud be results "524km" han?
second @RL589 and @hasooby hybrid doesn't give 624 a few months ago i cleaned the throttle body by myself changed the spark plugs changed the air filter and always fill up with total's petrol because it RON 90 instead of the others which is octane 87 or less its gives more mileage if you check out the internet you can find Liana fuel consumption rating which is 8.7L/100 km in city,5.6L/100km on highway and 6.7/100km combined mileage i said that my car gave me 624 excluding reserve which means 42.5 liters as liana has a 50 liters tank with 7.5 liters in reserve according to the user manual so mine average is 14.68 km/l which is pretty close to international ratings so i hope it would justified
lastly @ saboor73 yes i'm the master of hyper mileage because i don't drive like animals:P if you check out Pak suzuki's site they have given some tips for fuel saving E.g. driving at 40 gives almost 40% more milage than on 80 i've mostly drive @60 on local roots and leaves the accel prior to stopping (it doesn't meant that i always drive like "baba gees" a few days ago on my way form Sialkot to lahore i thrusts it to 150) also get air filter cleaned after every 1000kms and believes on a quotation " [TABLE="width: 850"]
