Liana Pick issue

I have recently installed a kabuli engine in My suzuki Liana LXI 2007. Car pick significantly drops in 2nd gear. I am driving it on Petrol. Can anyone please guide me what is the issue.

What oils are running in your car? Both engine and transmission oil information needed.
Status of thermostat valve needed. Battery status needed. Based on these, further plan of action can be advised.

Thank you for responding brother. Actually I have installed a new battery a week ago. Engine oil is ZIC 20-50. I have no idea about thermostat evolve & transmission oil. Can you plz guide me how to check it.

Oil is WAY too thick for this engine. Use 10w30 at max! Otherwise pick issues are going to be there along with excessive engine wear due to this goo in place of oil. Regarding gear oil, make sure you have 75w90 in it. You can't check which oil is there unless you know what you've put in it. If not sure then better change it. Plus a bottle of Ceratec with engine oil improves things dramatically.
Regarding thermostat, open radiator cap and start the car. If you see coolant flowing inside despite the car being cold then you don't have a thermostat. Get it installed.

what exactly is Ceratec and should we add it in engine oil or what?

It's a friction killer oil additive by Liqui Moly for engine oil. Once you add it and drive your car for 5k km without changing the oil, it sticks to the engine moving components and make them move silky smoothly resulting in massive pick and mileage boost. Add full bottle of it along with 4 litres of engine oil (5w30 or 10w30). Don't forget to change the filter too.

Use suzuki 10W40 oil in your car and get it tuned from suzuki dealership and get it scanned too.

10w40 is too thick for your car. 5w30 is as per factory specs. Maximum you can go is till 10w30.

Suzuki enignes run good on 10W40. 5W30 can burn in this old engine.

Not necessarily true unless your engine is on the verge of blowing out its piston seals. My car runs on 5w30 without any issues what so ever. Use quality synthetic stuff instead of going cheap and your engine will have no problems.

Hmm. Rather than using expensive lube for 10k kms i would use a mineral oil and change it twice on 10k kms.

Mineral on our road conditions won't last 3k km. Plus excessive wear and tear of engine is not worth the saving few rupees.

I cannot help if anyone is obsessed with Leichtlauf. The real synthetic I consider is Mobil 1. Have been using it in MB with drain intervals upto 20000km, but it has fleece filter not the one present here in toyota honda or suzuki
