totally agree with you but my point is not smoking any thing I was replying to your 8 valve theory, and suzuki is also not owned by my family. We have a xli a gli and this liana at home but the most comfortable ride is of liana.
secondly these cars are not ment for racing, and as far as new city is concerned its pretty good looking with lots of features and if i could afford one I would definitely go for it, if and only if if has all the features.
Current city is very expansive and totally feature less Honda is ripping people off not suzuki. This was my point and one faulty piece doesnt make all the pieces faulty
and by the way steermatic / eminent are my all time favourite cars. 
since I am into hospital supplies business I have to carry bulky / heavy stuff and it fits pretty well in my car and evne then there is no retalling sound in the car thats what makes me love this liana and am dam sure if it was a city it would have died by now as its not meant to be used like a donkey rather it is meant to be treated like your girl friend
