Alto is a great car on CNG. Although it has a carby engine, yet this is very powerful as it was also used in Potohar jeeps.

So you mean that if the car is Honda City Vario and the tuning has been done properly it would run on CNG without any troubles?

My Sunny 98 does not fully support CNG. I mean if I get it tuned on CNG, it works perfect, but than on petrol, it sometimes starts missing. And when I take it to CNG people for tuning on petrol, it starts consuming more CNG.
I once took it to Nissan 3S dealership on Shara-e-Faisal Karachi, they inspected my car, and told me that this model does not support CNG. They further told me that a Japanese expert team was called in the past to look into this matter as they had received complaints earlier for the same model, but they too couldn't find the solution.
As practically, I mostly drive on CNG, I have my car tuned on CNG and very seldom use it on petrol.
Any comment on this situation will be definitely be welcomed!

Why everyone keep bragging about the big cars... My Suzuki FX is a great car on CNG. and never forget the 200cc CNG rickshaw, how much of economy....

Please help make a list of cars, both Automatic and Manual which run on CNG without any significant problems. Please contribute to this thread with your precious knowledge. First list Automatic cars and then Manual ones which you know. As for my contribution, I dont have much knowledge about it. my carby cultus runs awesome on CNG, no CNG-petrol or petrol-CNG shifting problems, last time my car gave 275km on 11.4kg CNG (two fills). that's about 24 km/kg!

Well, it depends upon engine (power), installation of CNG and Setting of CNG.

If engine is small i.e upto 1000 cc and CNG is factory fitted then it will be very economical e.g alto, mehran....

If Engine is Efi in this range then it will much economical e.g cultus

If CNG is installed in Heavy Bus/Truck then it will consume CNG equal to the diesel(in term of cost) and outcome will be almost zero.

So, success of CNG is inversely proportional to size of Engine(cc)/Vehicle where installation and setting of CNG is also important factor.
