Daniyal dear there is no switch, its only a plastic which is there. i will check again in morning but Its non-functional as far as I remember!

Good job, but I feel by painting outer housing silver would cause light to reflect internally and might lead to less throw forward! just a speculation!!!

How you seeing the result!!??

thats the best I could get here in Abbottabad.Good built quality LED brake light. Not v costly!!

Light was not placed along the top edge of the rear glass as suggested by Xulfiqar bhai as that would mean a long wire spiral. Will still see if its possible to change its position but at the moment im happy with it

I meant stick onto glass - but anyway the headlamp looks nice now unlike the goofy and stupid looking black reflector surround that every khyber shows off. The light reflection would not be hurt in any way - the light beam is amplified by the back reflector which then hits the lens for dispersion, the surround plays no part. Its purely for aesthetic purpose.

actually its giving better result than b4 cuz one of my head light strted to rust dnt knw y so had to do this to prevent any further damage..........

BTW u removed steering for nothing cuz meter cluster can come out wid steering on

i wud suggest to go for LED lights in meter......it will give out more light and will consume less battery.......

its unbelievable but its consume like 5w or 3w per bulb depending on brightness u need.......and household night light consumes same amount

LED wud reduce battery consumption and that flickering of parking,meter,etc light when car strts as they only need 1/4w ....u knw wat i m talking abt..

here is something to give to some idea as well.....i did it last weekend

Hamza the shop is behind Niazi autos Jab pul. Shop's name is Ishtiaq decoration. You have to take left turn from main round in front of Niazi autos.

I realized this after I removed the meter:) anyway, I cleaned the steering as well!!

and for LEDs I have to put a strip just like you, I only replaced bulbs and thats it. No hassle and result is v good!! I'm going to replace red with blue ones!!
