dont know why people do dishonsty, and nowdays you hear that someone is robbed, but we need to do something about it, or we can just inform others that dont go to such shop or guy for repairs, 2 years ago i saw a post on Pakwheels that there is a shop opened in khi and islamabad with the name TOP GEARS and they sell performance parts and other stuff, my younger brother was in KHI so i told him to buy cold intake filters and RPM meter from them so he purchased from them from Nazimabad shop, when i treid to istall the RPM meter and it was not working so i contacted them and they told me to send the meter back and i send them back and after few days i inquired from them and they told me that they have checked it and they dont me that they cant replace it as it has already been opened and checked and i told them that i took it from the box and tried to install by a electrician and it was not working so it means you have givenm me the faulty meter, but they refused to replace, i also requested them to fix it and i will pay the charges as i bought it for 5000 Rs, but they didnt and after that i tried to contact them and they didnt even bother to attend my calls, so i guess they are nopt PATHANS but they have cheated me.

another incident happened to me days before yesterday by car was not starting as the self was not wotrking properly so i request a guy whom i know him since last 3 years to arrange a electrician and he told me not to worry he will look into it, so i left the car with him and came back and after halk hour he told me that some parts are needed from shoba for the self so i told him to buy the parts, so when i came back and asked from him and told me that they changed a small part and wire and there was no need to buy parts from shoba and i asked hoimn about the expense he told he that he gave 200 RS to the electrician. i thanked him and came back home, yeasterday same thing happen the car was not starting so i went to the electrician he is good freind of mine and i told him about the problem he checked the wires and connectors and found out due to rust the current was not passing correctly, he cleaned them with sand pappers and reconnect the connectors and car was started on the first attempt, and i asked him how much and he said he has done nothing but stillk i gave him 100 bucks, so one should be very careful dont go for repairs to the new guy orr go when sombody has recomended you to go and if you are new in the area always keep some contacts of Pakwheels members as they are very corporative, like in lahrore Hashim and SD_Sig helped me when i requested them.

In my posts above I have written in bold wordings that I never wrote that all pathans are bad. How can I write that by just having a bad experience with few dishonest ones. A lot of my friends are pathans and they are trustworthy and honest. I also wrote that don't spoil this thread by taking it towards racism.
Just look at the wording of @stingray, read both of his posts regarding me, those posts are so insulting and contained a lot of bad words, but you haven't asked a single word against him. Infact you are protecting him. Why??
When you people take each other sides irrespective of the facts on this international community where nothing is hidden, one can get an idea of your behavior in your own areas.

Rest, I have many pathan frnds, they are gem of guyz they have a habit of talking in there native lingo when two meets, even other 5 are not understanding but it doesn't mean anything ! there habit, culture or whatever you say ..... Still they are good People ! ! ! !

Well always keep the numbers of SPs, DPOs of the cities you are visiting or traveling. At least you can call police control of any area, get the numbers of SP office, call again and get SPs name and mobile number and if the thulla's misbehave, tell them you are going to call the SP sahib and their attitude will change suddenly. I tell you if the senior officials pick up the phone they do respond, my personal experience.

That is very true, they think your some dumb dumb untill you call up there boss. The best part is when you see the looks on there faces after they're done talking.

Be realistic. You feel comfortable at Shoba bazar because its your area, its your people, its your language. What if a gang of people are making conspiracy against you in their own language and you can't even understand a word?
This region is very much notorious for kidnappings, ransom and other bad activities. Even senior government officials and ministers got kidnapped here. Then what a 24 year old guy all alone can do?
And I haven't asked anywhere that all pathans are like this. Why are you bringing the topic to this side?

I have personally never experienced any of the kind mentioned above - WHY? I dont know, I was taught that wherever you are in any part of the world - LOOK LISTEN AND WATCH to what is going on, and never forget that the truth will always win. Be it current or later.

I have some very good Pashto speaking freinds - and I KNOW that they are the most hospitable of the bunch, not rich and live in a simple house - but when I visit them its a time to remember.

you have to come to Karachi and deal with some electronics (white goods) shop, I call them Ibn-e-Iblees, they will lie to your face, while praising Allah and working a rosary. I was in a recent incident of warranty claim of a notebook. The seller claiming that it had a years of Intl warranty while infact it was activated 2 months before the purchase.

It expired last week, which he did not want to accept, the chap insisted that everything is there and all is good and I should pay the freight of the machine to dubai, WHY should I pay when I am going to deliver the machine in person to Dubai. the manufacturer has refused service because the period has expired.

I went to the Union office - got the guy, he did help a little - to get me a proper written consent from the shop. I then worked out my arms and lodged a case of an act of 420 against the seller.
