lol.. this is quite a funny post...
first of all, even i wont go to shoba bazaar alone, and not because im a 17 year older, its just that i dont know the place, and i would like some expert to be with me while im there and dealing.. (however, ive been there, and its not this bad, the way the poster explained it)
secondly, offcourse there are bad and good people, but if u know how to handle them, u will not face any problem..
i totally agree with the posts by stingray.. most of his points are valid..
but what i've learnt is that while dealing in situations like this, u should be clear from the start.. no matter if u feel embarrassed or whatever, you shouldve told the guy what u needed, and told him that u just had 1000 or 500 rps for this, if he could do it well and good if he couldnt you should've left..
and the thing about the looters, they saw that you were an easy target, thats why they got in ur car and told u to drive, thank God they werent real looters or else they wouldnt hav left u just for rps 1000.. apparently they were just minors who enjoyed teasing u as u did not understand what they said amongst each other and took full advantage of that to laugh at u..
Although i feel sorry for what u had to experience.. but it will be a lesson and i think that is good for you, that the event occured.. and u got away safe and sound..
