Yesterday I checked oil level in my car while getting it washed. First to my surprise, air filter was awefully dirty and this oil based filter is very hard to clean of sticky dirt. And when I checked the oil, found it to be almost in the middle of two holes on the oil checking thing. It was slightly more than middle but still it was lesser than full. I have only driven my car 4000km. What could have caused this? Is this normal?. Should I be worried? Should I change my oil on 4000km.
