for test purpose n to keep cng cylinder for cng only i suppose as lpg rate goes sky high in winters

Last winters in Lahore it went to max 160 rs/kg when petrol was rs 110. still it was cheaper but not by much.

I changed my car around 1.25 years ago, I had in mind if I get good average then its ok, else i'll use LPG. But I got good average. My dad's ride has cng kit, I insisted him to try LPG, he did. Now he doesn't want to be in lines again for cng, so LPG is in use. No to cng from my home

i have a 5kg lpg cylinder n as it has been shared 4kg cant b used to that leaves one kg for me, so i'll have to get another n bigger lpg cylinder n get cng pipe connected to lpg in order to try it

in which car r u using lpg n how much average are you getting from it?

btw is it safe to get it filled from shops?as some members were concerned about safety issues when getting it filled from shops instead of proper filling station

he'll be coming back from lahore so it'll be again motorway average
but i guess u'll get good average since u commute on highway yourself

I filled 10kg lpg in my Civic 95 with d15b single vtec and its manual. the car has been driven 175 km, and it is still driving. so at least 17.5 without ac. not sure about the with ac figures as i don't drive it regularly.

and as I quoted earlier a friend got 150 km in 10 kg fill with ac on and 2 hours parked with ac on on 3000cc pajero

I don't think 4kg gas is left in cylinder. pajero's lpg was in cng cylinder too. no setting is done on cylinder, it can be filled with lpg as cng is filled. In Lahore, many LPG shops have nozzles installed with their cylinders. About safety, you very well know, CNG filling pressure is far higher than that of the LPG.

Chaudhary bhai, inna na socho. 10kg fill karo. Drive karo. Average check karo. Performance check karo. If satisfied, keep on using else revert back to cng when your lpg ends sochte raho ge tu confuse hote rahe ho.

To be honest there are 90% chances that you won't revert

Ap Lahore mei hote tu aur agar 4kg gas reh jati in cylinder (which in my experience isn't the case) i would have got your cylinder cleaned

If you really get serious and wanna keep on using LPG, you can try and source the big Cylinders directly from Distributors, get a pump for approx. 2000-3000-/ and fill it at home. Why go to shop-keepers when you can do " Tarakki " ?
It's same as buying a dozen bananas for 100-/ and going to Mandi, buying it for 50-/

No- Distributor has their own network of transporting Cylinders to shop keepers. Say you did buy 5 cylinders, when your 5th is almost empty, call him up and set a time. 5 Filled ones will come, take away the empty ones. Yaar, Damagh bhi istamaaal karoooooo

Zia, lets say i keep my setup as tha of cng, how will i get to pump lpg in cng through nozzle? There are just local shops here who have nozzles as that of lpg cylinders not cng ones...

Secondly how is quantity of lpg measured if we are pumping in cng cylinder? Cant take it out to weight it neither they have some meter so how?

Also lets see what avg azhar gets in isb driving. And i also dont think 4 kgs are left inside
