@chaudry9 civics are known for rpm dropping issues on cng especially prosmatec.

Settings are ok. Check and clean your air filter.

Secondly, open the drain nut located at the bottom of your cng kit and drain the oil gathered inside the kit.

Then check if it performs ok or not.

Ideally you should drain the oil after every 3-5 days

Yar ye sab drama hai. Settings can never get out. Settings are adjusted and later screw is tightened so it cant get out unless somebody does it himself.

I also faced rpm dropping today. Btw we both got lpg last night mb that lot was not good?

Anyway i have spent 1800 for 3 days. More than petrol so no scene

lol kaha b tha k setting kra lo, dekh liya apni setting ka haal phr

dont blame lpg but ur own self even pajero is giving good avg on lpg

meine b to chalai hai na phr, same car same engine aur wo b phr auto aur phr wo b city driving

chalo now get cylinder cleaned, koi faida to ho ga

tried kashmir highway today from g9 side, wont b going there again, from G11 its all great no issues, from G9 lots of diversions etc
even the road parallel to it would be faster though they have closed it when u reach G11 to take exit on to kashmir highway, dont know for what weird reason

tried now, rpm was fine shukar hai

dont know whats wid the setting, few days back also idle rpm was at 0 at morning time n at 400 in evening time after which i got it adjusted again, today morning when it was at 0, it was showing that it'll be turn off but it didnt until i was near home on my way back n at afternoon time it was constantly turning off on slowing down when i had to re visit him, n he said wid lpg u need to keep getting da setting done :S
he adjusted it from kit near tyre side

got that washle installed today, told him to carefully remove the nozzle today which he did plus i did the same thing like u did, closed the valve from trunk to be on safe side n i think thats a good way to avoid this issue

got that washle installed today, told him to carefully remove the nozzle today which he did plus i did the same thing like u did, closed the valve from trunk to be on safe side n i think thats a good way to avoid this issue

what da fish, today morning rpm was fine when i started the car but after covering 3km, its back at 0, n again car kept turning off on slowing down n all da way i had to constantly shift to N, start n shift to D, mostly widout pressing brake, i hope thats no issue

i just got the setting done yesterday n by today morning its like this, i think i'll have to learn how to do it myself warna ab roz roz kon chakar lagai n its very annoying as it keeps turning off :mad:

i dont know where's that nut located, next time i go to some cng guy, will ask about it so i can drain it myself next time

Dude the nut is at the botton of your kit and its very simple to remove the oil from the kit BTW i m facing the same RPM dropping issue now a days.... I think that my car have read ur post and now trying to behave the same

that's not the idle speed adjuster, have a look at this pic:

And chaudhary, i already know how to do settings, even then i was facing issues and you are gonna learn it now. like i said settings once done cannot be changed unless you do it again. Those screws do not move on their own...

i have seen the screw in engine bay, n i thought thats used for idle rpm, so idle rpm adjuster is the one near to the right tyre side, i guess i should take my arm there to find the screw n rotate it anti clock wise to increase idle rpm but would that effect anything like setting which can ultimately effect the avg?

as for the nut how can i reach it, like front bumper side after lifting from right tyre side?

there are so many screws how would i know which one is the idle speed adjuster when all u do is take ur arm there, yea screws cant move on their own but then how does cng setting gets out?

u know once when u posted that ac on idling doesnt uses much cng so i tried it too for like 10min on cng n after that my idle rpm on cng went down near to 0 n i had to get its setting done again

his father has civic 2000 i think which is on lpg,

hahaha n here i thought em the only one facing this issue, rpm drop isnt much of an issue but when it starts to turn off, thats a real pain, in manual one can just press clutch n give race to keep it start which i cant

also it does effects the pick, like when i got the setting done yesterday pick got better with it too

went to the car, turned steering to the right, peeked inside but couldnt find the kit nor the screws, took whole arm inside n tried finding but still couldnt find it

perhaps @hellsguardian u can post a pic of ur own car indicating where it is

bro the only explanation i can think of is this:

Settings as we say are out means that fuel to air ratio is not right. So consider the following scenario,
you went to khattak, he did settings for you. Now at that time lets say he was able to get the ratio near perfect.

Next morning, the screws are still at same positions so ideally, the ratio should be same as last evening, but since the car is dropping rpm, it is obvious that something has changed which caused the fuel ratio to change and the screws are needed to be adjusted again. The only thing in this scenario changed is the amount of fuel.

As we all know, kits are basically regulators, so it is kit's job to keep fuel regulated i.e same amount should be coming all the time unless changed by mechanic. In this case, the regulator is not regulating the amount of fuel... Perhaps its because we are using cng kit for lpg(i.e its not optimized for lpg) OR the pressure of lpg keeps changing.

As far as solution for this problem, i cant comment. May be water pipes will work but i guess not... Do zia and asim have same kits as yours? there can be many reasons for lpg to be perfect for someone and not for other. advancer/emulator/different ecu/different car etc etc

on cng? aren't you using lpg, in any case, idle rpm dropping has nothing to do with consumption. Yes i said that on idle cars don't consume much even with AC. But if rpm is dropping, then its settings problem

You have to get your arm inside lol otherwise it is hard to explain. The position of kit in civics is awkward and the good thing is that once you get your arm in, the closet and easiest screw you can reach is the idle adjuster. I at least have never got get hold/touch any other screw. Its the idle adjuster which comes in to your hand

Lol you cant see it from the tyre side, first have a look from above by opening the bonnet, then put your arm inside and behind the rubber, then curl it back and your shoulder would be touching the fender, only then you will be able to get a hold of it. Yes its not an easy place to reach lol
