Hi Guys ! Hope you are good. I have recently bought Toyota Corrolla GLI 1.3 2015 model with milleage of 265,000 KM, please suggest me good engine oil. Thanks.

The owner's manual page fb2013 shared shows recommendation for both 1.3 (1NR-FE) and 1.5 (2NR-FE) engines used here in Pakistan. Check the temperature range of oil grades mentioned in the manual.

i am using shell 10w 40 in my gli 2012 . now i want to use caltex havoline 10 40 because i am unable to find genuine shell 10 40.. Can i use this oil now havoline 10 40 instead of shell 10 40? Car mileage is 1lac 20 k ... and engine is in good condition not consuming oil...

My reborn 2007 has run 294000 kms. Previous owner said it has Zic 20w-50. After 3000kms it has clean oil at full level. No smoke etc. Alhamdulillah.
I am considering switching to genuine Honda oil. Should I?
I came to know that Honda is also selling an oil specially for hybrid vehicles. I don't know if it is available in Pakistan.
Can anyone please guide me what should I do.

My car is Corolla GLI 2007, engine assembly is recently changed which is purchased from shershah, Karachi, Engine condition is normal. I have poured oil of Mobil Super 10w40 semi synthetic (picture attached), which is recommended by one of my friend who is a car geek, which cost me more than a normal oil (Rs.7500)
Now when I read about engine oil recommendation in pakwheels forum so most of the senior guys recommending 5w30 or 10w30, so should I downgrade the oil in next oil change? And it's safe to downgrade from thicker to thinner? Or this grade is also good for my vehicle?? Please suggest

Yes no harm in switching to better grade 5 30 or 10 30 make sure to use semi synthetic not mineral oil.

It's 2 years old packing that's why cheap, but there is no issue in it. Yes you can use it.

Claimed shelf oil life by Exxon Mobil is around 5 years, this Toyota cvtfe oil is also blended by ExxonMobil.

Gentlemen I have a little confusion. I recently bought a Toyota Corolla Gli 2010. It has an odometer reading of 143,000.
I read in Pakwheels forums that it has an oil capacity of 3.7 litres if new oil filter is being installed according to Manual
I followed it and put in exactly 3.7 litres after cleaning the engine using Liqui Moly engine flush and now I can see extra oil using the dip-stick. Is this normal with Corollas?
