API SP is designed for GDI engines. Most of the vehicles in Pakistan are MPI except Honda Civic and few chinese crossovers.
The only benefit of using API SP in non GDI engine is timing chain wear protection. This new API spec have additives to minimize timing chain wear

Is it really full synthetic 5w-30?

No one call tell that. We don't have labs to test it chemical properties. All we can do is trust what is written on the packaging.

API SN is fine for 2nz fe. But it would be good if you can use SP just to get that timing chain wear protection benefit. Majority of the engines have timing chain these days. As far as I know, only proton saga have timing belt if you check all the new vehicles these days

API SN Plus have no benefit for non-GDI engine

If you find API SN or SN Plus at much less price than API SP, then choose the former.

and which one is best between PSO SN 10w30 (synthetic formula ) and Havoline 10W30 SN Plus (mineral) ?

Let's say 7400 for api ap and 6100 for api sn plus

Better use PSO because of 2 reasons
1) it's synthetic
2) SN Plus have no benefit over SN for non-GDI engines

This oil should be good. It's a new business by atlas group. This is the same group that make ags batteries, honda bikes, and is a joint partner with honda japan for cars.

Keep in mind it's not OEM honda oil. OEM Honda oil is manufactured by idemitsu Pakistan.

Fawad what is your opinion on taglon xe,zic x7, and Valvoline durablend? Are they all good? Or is zic n taglon sus?

Use the one which is a synthetic blend with the latest API spec in lowest price.

How much oil are you pouring in your corolla ? 3.5 or 3.7 litres ?

3.5 leaves oil at top mark 3.7 crosses it

i am using toyota taglon 5w-50 in 2SZ FE. helps with reducing knocking issue considerably

however a sticker in the bonnet suggests 0w-20 for my 2SZ FE. however i have never used it since it was not available in the market earlier.

Using thick oil will mask the underlying problem, but it's not a fix. You are causing more harm to the VVT system when using 5W-50 where 0W-20 is required. The oil will not flow properly and the components which are working fine will go bad in addition to what's already bad.

In such cases there are two options.
1) Keep using thick oil and swap the engine when it completely fails.
2) Save the engine by rebuilding it now.

I was using Total 5W-30 for a couple of years but when the car started consuming oil my brother switched directly to Kixx 20W-50 which was a big mistake imo. The engines performance isn't what it used to be. The fuel consumption is like a 200 series land cruiser. The car had some oil leaks and oil consumption problems, they are now addressed, should I switch back to 5W-30 or would that be too aggressive ? 10W-40 or 10W-30 seems like a good middle ground at this point. The car consumes a lil oil still but I guess that's normal.

This is what it says online for 2nz-fe engines. I used to pour 3.7 litres for a long time.
