It's better to have a maintenance history than none at all, but 3,000km is a really short oil change interval, and 20W-50 is too thick an oil, especially for your engine. I believe the manufacturer specifies 3.6 liters of 5W-30.
I'd suggest using a quality 5W-30, 10W-30, 5W-40, or 10W-40 and extending your oil change interval to 5,000km. You should even be good to go up to 8,000km with a full synthetic oil. Just buy whatever is cheapest at a reputable oil change place. Shell, Caltex, Total, Mobil, SK ZIC, whatever.
As long as you keep an eye on oil consumption and change the oil and filter on time, your car will be fine.
Let's say your annual mileage is 24,000km. That's 4-5 oil changes using a conventional oil and changing after 5,000km, vs. 3 oil changes using a full synthetic and changing after 8,000km. Do the math, find a quality oil and filter that costs you the least, and forget about it.
In my case, I use 3 liters of full synthetic Havoline ProDS 5W-40 API SP in my Suzuki F6A. It cost me Rs. 2,120/liter a month ago, and the filter cost me Rs. 1,800. My annual mileage means I only change my oil twice a year, so that's a cost of Rs. 16,360 per year.
If I find an oil from a reputable manufacturer that lowers my operating costs, I'm going for that one.
