How is Kixx Engine Oil (5w-30) in general amd specifically for Yaris

In the current economic situation even Kixx is costing around 8k and good oils are around 12-15k

Please use total quartz 9000 5w-30 and change it religiously at 5000km or 6 months, which ever comes first

I was using valvoline now it cost 9100 the sales man at oil shop suggested totachi that is for 9000 after pouring it the drive change dramatically dont know that how's it even possible but there is much difference in cars response now
I have used mobil liquimoly kendall amsoil world top brands but never felt this much satisfaction that i felt after pouring it in car

most of the oils you mentioned are available in pakistan through gray channel. why you have not ever tried the the caltex havoline fully synthetic 5w30 or 0w20 that are available through caltex company operated outlets. They have also gone very expensive now like 8400. I wonder the liqui moly and other such fancy oils were same price (8 or 9k PKR) at the time when I used to buy havoline for 4k PKR but now havoline is 8k and the fancy oils are still same 8 or 9k. am not using any fancy brand, prices are uniformly going up. Got oil change last week 10W-40 AISIN, 4 litre pack for 5500 from bulk seller. Retail may be bit high.

I am using ams oil signature series in my both crowns.
Toyota petron 10w30 in my rkr jeep
And Valvoline 5w30 synth oil in my diesel Rocky jeep.

And AMS Vrod in my Honda 125

Pretty much all imported full-synthetic oils are around that 8-11k price point for 4 liters - Havoline, Total, Shell, Mobil, Addinol, ZIC, Aisin, etc. Liqui-Moly costs a few thousand rupees more, in the same price bracket as MOTUL, AMSOIL, etc.

Gazpromneft's G-Energy Far East 5W-30 Full Synthetic API SN is a notable exception, perhaps not for long.

Guard Lubricants also claims to have full synthetic oils, but with no specs, blending info, country of origin, or technical information that I can see. Hard pass. PSO's Carient 5W-30 Fully Synthetic PAO API SN is also likely a bit cheaper, if anyone is interested, although I don't trust them either.

I paid Rs. 2,120 per liter for Havoline ProDS Eco 5W-40 Full Synthetic API SP a few weeks ago. Conventional and semi-synthetic oils haven't seen as drastic a price hike.

My point is that when these shell havoline etc were for 4 or 5k per 4 litre pack the fancy oils were 8 to 10k but now that the shell havoline have reached 8k mark the fancy oils are still on same 8 to 10k mark. Why their prices have not increased? Was @capsat right that most of fancy oils are fake and made locally?

I mentioned that Liqui-Moly, AMSOIL, MOTUL are at least Rs. 11k or higher.

If someone was counterfeiting these oils, would they not have the sense to increase the price to maintain the illusion?

That said, if anyone has evidence that these oils are counterfeit, I'd like to see it. @capsat

This is what I was referring to when I asked for evidence. I don't know what "fancy oils" are, but I'm assuming @dms664 is talking about the imported German or American oils.
