Original transmission was replaced at around 340k km. The 2nd one (used) lasted till 495k km. It's on it's 3rd one now. It's better to have it rebuilt, but almost no one here can rebuild one properly using a new rebuild kit, and it costs several lac rupees and several weeks to import.
Bottom end has been rebuilt once only. It still goes 180+ and gives 11.5 km/l local with A/C, and 16+ on the motorway.
For some reason, there's an ill-founded myth in Pakistan that a 100k km engine is very high mileage - it's nothing. Just change oil and oil filter on time, and use a proper coolant/distilled water mix.
