IC 104 and IC 105 are same in working ......but ic 105 is latest

This is setting of your ups according to website info......which seems perfect........
Overchaging is assumed when ups does not cut of charging..........this happens in two situations.
1. Fault in ups......not cut off @ preset point
2. Fault in battery .......cell short..............

first of all really appreciate your reply , it helps me understand it more , few things is still confusing though , i am not complaining about ups is not charging on time , my complaint is ups is not charging it full doesnt matter how much time it have to charge it , as i read and understand its because of faulty battery so i am sure inverter is good , i need to change my battery which i will do it in near future , last thing i am asking here is by looking at my inverter specification is it ok to use 135 amp battery ? thanks in advance .

In coming days, I am going to buy a ups preferably aurora or cyber power 24v but thinking which brand is more reliable and give long backup aurora or cyber power?

Also I have some confusion about 24v series and 12v parallel battery bank that which combination will give long back up, quick charging and high output power to a system?

Please help me on these matters.

24V UPS is better then 12V UPS.....................it give long back up and charge battery quickly.......no idea about both products

Please read the second last section of main thread. In 24 Volts system, two batteries are connected in series to make it a 24 Volt system, but you can also connect two batteries in parallel to keep it a 12 volt system as it will again double the backup time, two batteries will go well with 12 volt system, but amp-hr ratings of both batteries will add up while calculating the new charging rate.

Transformer seems perfect........if u upgrade kit........u will get ur out put volts fixed, low volt adjustment. overload protections.....3 stages charging system..........led lights which will tell u state and percentage of battery..........

If I do upgrade the kit to IC 104 or IC 105, will I be able to select different charging rates for each stage in the 3 stages charging system, or is that automatic??? For e.g if I select 15A initial charge setting, I want it to go down to 10A at 50% charge and then near to 5A near the cutoff, something like that. And when I select 20A initial charge setting, I want it to go down to 15A and then 10A etc.

Is something like this possible or can I only select the initial charge rate???

I've noticed that when I'm getting below 220V from Wapda and if I have the initial rate set at 13A setting, then the UPS charges the batteries at 8-10A initially and 2-3A near cutoff, due to which it takes more than 3 hours to fully charge the batteries. But if I get full 220V or higher then charging rate is 13-17A and batteries charge within 2 hours.

Is this normal for all UPS??? Or is this UPS fault???

With IC 105......that loop of transformer is used which has ability to charge from 150v.....or very near to ground (negative) volt loop.
For UGS 175 u can set 15A charging........kit will automatically decided when to bulk charge and when to trickle charge......

If I set the UPS initial charge at 15A, then why does it fluctuate with the fluctuation in Wapda voltage??? I understand if the voltages are lower like 200 or 210V so it won't be able to charge at 15A, but when voltages are high like 220 or 225V, why does charging exceed 15A and charge at 20A or 25A even when I have set it to charge at maximum 15A???

Due to this I'm asking if there is any fault in the UPS or is this normal for ALL UPS, even if I get a new kit???

Wahi to aapse pooch raha huun bro, kit ka koi taaluq hai yaan sirf transformer par depend karta hai charging ampere??? Because in my current UPS three wires are coming out of transformer, one is brown which is 5A, one is blue which is 15A i think and one is yellow which is 20A i think.

Jaab wapda voltages below 220V hote hain like 200-210V charging bhot slow hoti hai so I hook up the yellow wire (20A) onto the kit and batteries fully charged within 1 hour and amperes on multi-meter show 17-20A.

But when wapda voltages are 220V or higher lets say 225-230V then on yellow wire the batteries fully charge in 30 mins and UPS+Battery terminals+Wires get too hot, and on multi-meter it shows 25-30A.

So when wapda voltages are 220V or higher, I plug in the blue wire (15A) and UPS charges battery within 1.5 hours and multi-meter shows 14-16A, which is safe I think.

So my question is, ye to transformer sai wires aarahi hain, kit sai kya taaluq charging rate ka??? And agar new kit lagwaoon to kaisse setting karunga k wo initially 15A charge karna shuru kare and baad main khuudi trickle charge kare???
