Maintaining UPS/car batteries

@Ishtiaq778 yesterday my car didn't started and showed low battery voltage 11:98. I removed it and charged with ups for 3-4 hours. Then let it settle overnight but today its voltage was 11:37v .

One of the cell is having gravity in red zone of hydrometer while others are in green. Is there any chance of recovery of this cell or only option is replacement of battery?

If I replace electrolyte then what are the options and which battery is good for cultus 2007?

My new Phoenix ups battery also showed low gravity in one cell (11.5)

But few full discharge and recharge cycles equalized the gravity in all cells. (12.5 in all now)

I have a 600 Watt aurora UPS. It has on back side a button mentioning wide & narrow.I asked a aurora technician and he told that at narrow UPS will charge on 10A and on wide at 20A. My UPS stopped charging last week and i got it repaired from a local guy, he told that it stopped charging due to inflamed resistors or whatever(the drum type things in UPS) and maximum output voltage during charging was 12.2 volts and replaced them.Now i tested the UPS after reconnection with the battery and it shows and voltage of 13.7 maximum volts after sometime when charging and doesn't increase this voltage.My question is :
1. What should be charging voltage of this UPS? Is 13.7 OK, i studied that charger should go to 14.2-14.4 to avoid sulfation,13.7 is OK but in long run it can result in sulfation.
2. How to check what is the cutoff voltage.
3. What is the wide and narrow in UPS?

Wide and narrow terms are mostly used to specify the input voltage to the UPS, don’t confuse your self, it just says if input voltage drops below a specific voltage like 200Volts AC then UPS should switch back to backup mode in-order to avoid unnecessary damage to electronic equipment’s attached with the ups like wifi routers and laptops. Wide says if voltage falls below a specific value even then ups should not switch to a backup mode, this should be ok if you have not attached tv’s and computers with the ups.
13.7Volts comes preset from factory on few ups systems and I think, there is very less you can do with your imported ups. ideally, once a person buys a ups system, then he should read properly the specs and see for what sort of batteries are the ups designed for. ideally cutoff voltage should be between 14Volts to 14.4Volts.
Option to select 20amperes or 10 amperes of maximum charging is chosen by a different button on ups. yes, on imported ups, I have seen this button on few ups but narrow and wide is something different.

I have never heard about memory affect in ups, most likely you are confusing it with something else. Discharging the battery fully to 10.3 volts and recharging it back once in a while is good for these batteries. Anyway, we still experience load shedding three times a day during winters so I never bother as batteries automatically discharges and charges back. With right UPS settings, correct electrolyte, you will hardly experience any issues with your ups. if you did not experience load shedding in last 2-3 weeks, then this practice of putting ups on backup mode, letting it discharge completely and recharging it back is very helpful in keeping its life intact.

So umm i have a lead-acid wet battery OSAKA its a 130 A.H battery being used on a UPS. Its performing good but the thing i noticed is no matter how much i charge it - 1 hour, 2 hour, even 4 hours - it doesn't cross 13.8 volts. Instead it keeps getting hotter and hotter. I checked the gravity with a gravity meter and all the cells are almost in green area. Although the water reduction in all the six cells is not equal. Some cells reduce water a bit earlier than the others. I recently have flushed the battery - before it was giving not even an hour with 1 fan and 1 energy saver and after the flush it started giving 1 hour with 3 fans without a hiccup. I used pyro electrolyte and pyro distilled water.
So this is the complete history of the battery. What do you think is causing the battery to not cross over 13.8 volts. @talhawaleed @ishtiaq778 please help.

i don no abut local one but yes apc 1 kva will cost u approx 15k without battery and yes! u can use ags or any other liquid battery with it ..... by default it comes with 2 X 12 Volt battery setup but if sumone wants it to be use with one battery thn u hv the choice ..........

You will have to verify the charging rate once voltage at battery terminal reaches 13.8 Volts, sometimes during trickle charging if charging rate at last stage decrease to 1-2 Amperes then UPS continues to charge the battery and voltage on battery terminal does not touches the cut off Voltage like if its set to 14.2 Volts. In-order to resolve the issue, you will have to increase the last stage charging so that it is able to push the Voltage up to 14.2 Volts or on what so ever your cut off voltage is set.

You can assume the example of a vehicle climbing up a mountain with a Force and Speed. If surface is slippery then even with more force and less speed wont produce the desired results, you tires will keep on slipping and you won’t experience any gain. You are burning your tires, so here you just evaporating your distilled water content in electrolyte.

I parches AGS battery GX-165 125A/h my UPS is homage neon 1003, 700w, i select the charging current 15A, when battery full charged the voltages on battery terminals are
13.83v DC. it is normal charge state of new battery?
