UPS is the number 1 culprit of every damage to a battery unless battery company is bad.
I mean its always bad ups made with bad quality materials.
My FRIEND electrician Abid always suggests me to BUY AGS.
I have AGS 175 amp battery liquid battery and its been two damn years. Now its getting old. But still runs for one to 2 hours now while it's dying. But when new. This battery gave 6-8 hours on 2-3 ceiling fans plus 4-6 energy savers. And same backup time for 1- half years before it was abused too much later and before.
Now people having inverters with same AGS 175 battery with same load get 2-3 hours backup and are happy. But they don't know who to blame when battery dies.
If you were in Lahore i would recommend u to buy his highly custom made UPS according to each customer's needs.
I told him that here 2 hours of load shedding and one hour electricity is normal and then again teo hours load shedding. He made my ups put at fast but still safe charging settings. And i could get enough back for two hours plus enough charge to get next backup for next two hours in one hour and next two hours again.
I used to run 800+ wats water pump over 650 watts ups because i told him that we need water for room construction. So he cancelled the tripping option if too much load.
When room construction finished. He changed the settings back to 650 watts max load. That way if someone by mistake try to run the water pump over ups of iron. It would trip instead of working and slowly dying.
Even if ups dies. His highly customizable and ultra safe UPS parts are cheap and repairable as many times as possible because he uses good kits and wires and many things.
Instead local ups makes use cheap kits leading to being repaired once or twice more times and than kit replacement.
If u still doubt i am trying to advertise a cheap guy then u deserve the negativity bro.
Good luck lahoris.
At least even if u dont buy from him. U are being educated in right way. He asked me to put grease on terminals and i have never have any carbon accumulation on my terminals.
JazakAllah.
