two reasons .. either ur ups is over charging the batteries .. for that u hv to hv a clamp meter to check the batteries charging current or get it checked by electrician ... second is that battery's cell mite be damaged ...

your UPS is faulty its over charge the battery or charge at high amp.... i-e above 20amp etc

causes damage the battery thus cell dead ..

I want to install some gadgets to car mehran such as rechargeable portable speakers, reverse camera with power on off switch n some extra lights with power on off switch. Please tell me where to get power supply for them. Where to connect wires? Directly with battery or somewhere else.

no need to install the supply .. take connections form the inginition switch .. just install regulator for desire voltages i-e 5 volt 9 volt or 12 volt... etc ... and connect the lights fan camera with on off switch .. with fuse install fuse is mandatory in camera wiring

you install the new battery in parallel with the old battery it iz not recommended ... ..
this can be over loaded your new battery and reduce its life ..

whats review on AGS battery tonic?

I have been using Ags tonic. My technician brother said use it when battery is dying and cannot keep the acid gravity to 1250. So use it. If new battery then just use normal tap water.

But now i will buy gravity checking meter and see which cell has increase gravity and which has decrease gravity and will put water or acid when water level is low in battery according to each cell.

After two years of using AGS 175 and getting 7-8 hours on one to two ceiling fans and 5 energy savers. Till now after two years getting 1-2 hour backup on one ceiling fan and many energy savers. I sold the battery for 92/kg. and it was 32.5 kg. and bought new AGS 200 battery for 16000 rs before season started i purchased it on 28 march 2017 and april 2nd it got to 17800 rs price.

But this battery i will take care very much and accurately and of course Abid UPSes never troubles the battery. I will easily get 8-10 hours of backup on one fan and 5-6 hours on 2-4 fans.

Recently my desi ups has developed a problem, when the light goes after few minutes, the voltage drops considerably and I have to close all fans, than turn the ups off, couple of times turn it on and off sometimes it works voltage gets normal and than it works fine. Has happened twice this month. What could be the reason? Its 700watts attached to 185 milat single battery bought last year.

Recently Abid said one of his clients used the same setup as mine. 1000 watts ups (acutally 1200 watts) and AGS 200 27 cell new battery.

He said that person has same setup and the person said he tested many times he got 12 hour backup with 4 not even 3 but 4 ceiling fans running. Abid said he doesnt believe. He said thats why he has tested many times. Abid said well maybe you are lucky to get good battery from company.

When i told this story to my friend he said so which company fans were they. I asked Abid and he said The person has GFC ceiling fans at home. Pure copper.

I was very happy to hear it. Because on Abid's Ups my AGS 175 old battery gave 8 hours of backup maximum. So i definitely know this will give almost 10 hour if not more.

This is the trickle charge setup and a 2 number but good enough for home purpose amp meter. Bought it for 500 rs from shalmi lahore.

I'll ask abid about you problem.

This is when ups has charged 80% of battery so trickle charge system is giving amps as much as battery needs. Otherwise when empty or used for one or two hours then battery takes 25-26 AMPs. I forgot whether they are AC amps or DC amps.
And now after 80% it is taking 10 amps.

But many chargers or inverters have 10 amp or 20 amp button set. Problem is they dont slow down and overcharge the battery or damage it.

Its same like filling a glass of water. First at full fast speed when close to being full we pour slowly. But if we pour at same speed. It will be either too slow or too fast. Even at 10 amps if inverters charge. Problem is in Pakistan loadshedding is crazy. Last summer i had two hours of load shedding an one hour of wapda. So ups HAS to charge at faster rate to be able to give me backup throughout the day. Because loadshedding would be at least
10-14 hours peak time of summer.
Thi is where all inverters or desi made cheap upses fail. Either they fail to give backup or if charge fast and get backup they fail to protect the battery.

Either inverter has 10 amp and 20 amp option or slow fast charging option or using external chargers.

AGS is good brand top of the list. Rest are new or trying to convince people that their batteries are fine. I have used AGS 175 last two years with 2 fans and 5-7 energy savers and sometimes aircooler of 150 watts GFC AND SOMETIMES WATER PUMP 0.5 hp. All worked fine. And when brand bew AGS 175 would give 6-8 hours backup on 2 fans. And all energy savers. And when i sold it on march 29 2017. After two years. It still used to give me 1-2 hours backup on one fan.

Now i bought AGS 200 27 cell battery. Local UPS made from a genius person. And i even have the feedback of this nee battery and same ups i have. Another person has same setup and he said his AGS battery and my friend's made UPS make AGS give 12 hours of backup on 4 damn ceiling GFC company made fans. And he has tested that 12 hour backup more than 3 times on different occasions.

Plus if your AGS doesnt give good backup. I am almost certain its UPS FAULT. And new batteries does NOT need water refilling until 4-6 months.

Another person has same setup and he said his AGS battery and my friend's made UPS make AGS give 12 hours of backup on 4 damn ceiling GFC company made fans. And he has tested that 12 hour backup more than 3 times on different occasions.

Happy for thay person, but something doesn't addup. 4 fans load will be at least 30 Amps at 12v on good inverter. And can be upto 40 Amps on bad inverters.

AGS GX200 F is rated at 175 A.H. capacity.
With that much load, it shouldn't go beyond 6 hours i guess.

Worst case scenario, UPS is overcharging battery to 15v and then may be draining it all the way down to 7v. Hence great capacity but sure gonna kill the battery fast.

I am confident that my UPS can run 4 fans + lights for 12 hours but it has a pair of GX 200 F.

Also the Multimeter you are using in above post doesn't support DC Amps. It can check only AC amps and AC/DC voltages.

To check the DC amps between UPS and Batteries, you'll need something like this.

His UPS has tripple charge or trickle charge system.
Charges till 14.1 volts and discharges till 8. Something. As i said if its overcharging we would need to refill it with water often but it is not the case with his ups.

And he also told that guy, maybe you are the lucky one to get the best of the battery. Its same like getting something from company which is made in a very good way. I will ask him about battery capacity and amps. Are you talking about AC amps or DC amps. Ill ask him anyway. He will know.
Plus the fans are pure copper GFC.

His 2000 watts (actually 2200, but he tells customers its 2000 watts ups) runs 4 AMP printer easily. I think AIRCONDITIONER 1 ton takes 5 -6 AMPs.
