Before you guys read below, i want to tell all of you that i know nothing about cars. I only know how to drive them. Gari main kisi b kism ka masla ho jaye, tau i am kind of a person jo blank ho ga and will wait for help.
Mere pass suzuki mehran hai - which is about 10 years old....1 week pehle when i started my car, tau gear laganay per meri gari move nae kar rahi thi. I mean it should move when we release the clutch.
I noticed clutch was real loose - like us main jaan hee nae ho. First though dimagh main yehi aaya k ye clutch ka panga hai. Maine aik nearest mechanic ko call kiya - he came home and check kara usne and he told me,
" Clutch plate kharab ho gae hai - new clutch plate daalni pare gi "
I said then change it...He said main aapki gari workshop le jata hun dhaka maar kar...and theek kar k wapis de jaon ga..........I was ok because i could not sit around in a workshop because of my work. So i guided him to fix the car - change clutch plate and gari sham ko wapis kar jaye....
He did exactly the same - he took 4500 rupees from me. 1500 his labour and rest clutch plate charges.
Right after 4-5 hours, he came back with a fixed car. Clutch ka jo b masla tha wo theek ho gaya....And he asked for the payment - and i said i need to go the atm, when i will - i'll pay you. He was ok and wo chala gaya !
Now Mechanic 2:
2 ya 3 din baad i was going in the same car and us main kuch problem aaya tau main aik kareebi mechanic k pass ruka. He pointed out a problem in one of the parts in the engine and said k,
"Is pe aik poora din lag jaye ga, aur engine khol k - us main ye part change ho ga. Aur agar koi aur b masla hua tau main theek kar dun ga like clutch plate waghaira"
I was like, 'maine 2 ya 3 din pehle hee tau clutch plate change karwaye hai - so wo bilkul theek hai...bus ye jo keh ray ho masla, fix it when i will come next'
He said, 'agar clutch plate change karwaye hai, tau us mechanic nay engine tau khola ho ga - tau us nay ye nae bataya k is main ye b masla hai aik aur'
I said, 'i was not there when he changed the plate and i do not know whether usne engine khola k nae'
He said, 'agar usne plate change ki hai tau engine tau khola ho ga...aur agar engine nae khola tau that means plate change nae hui and he fool'd you'
......................................Ye story yaheen pe khatam karta main...But - maine jab mechanic 1 say poocha, jisne actually main so called clutch plate change ki thi. I asked him k engine khol k change ki thi clutch plate? ...he said k clutch plate change karne k liye engine kholne ki zaroorat nae hai..maine gear khol k change kari..
lol ...
Now i am confused....Mujhe zero knowledge in sab cheezo ko...mere kuch questions hain, please anyone koi uska jawab de de achay say tau i will be grateful...
- Clutch plate engine khol k change hoti ya gear khol k.... ?
- Suzuki mehran ki clutch plate ki price? and agar clutch plate change karwani hai tau us k reasonable charges kia hote?
- How much time it takes? because usne 3-4 ghantay main gari ki clutch plate change kar k wapis kar di....
