I had recently brought Suzuki Mehran DEC, 2017 VXR IM.
I am facing high petrol consumption. I did check mile per letter petrol on half fuel tank such as I did fill the tank until fuel gauge show needle on the endpoint, then fill petrol 9 litre and start ride until fuel gauge level reach to endpoint so finally my car run only 151 km in 9 litres.

I said to SUZUKI my car fuel consumption too high when i was go to 1st free checkup car maintenance but still the car in the same condition. I think Suzuki car warranty just Topi Drama & make a fool customer.

Who one can advice me, how can I handle this issue?

Getting 16+ is a pretty decent average. It also depends on your route and traffic. Don’t mess with your car by doing unnecessary tunings etc.

It will improve after 1000km as the car liquids will be distributed well by then.

I need one more query, My Suzuki Mehran Car doing bubbling when car speed over 70kmph, what is wrong with ...? I will go tomorrow Suzuki service Center for fixing, Please advice me any expert .

You are getting a fuel average of around 17 kmpl and still complaining? What were your expectations?

16 km per liter without AC that is low. Actually this my first experience, I expecting 18-20 kml without AC because It is Mehran EFI. old Mehran already doing 13-16 kml without AC.

I think it IM means Immobilizer feature, I am not sure

Hi,
I bought my VXR in mid 2017 and from day 1st I am getting an average of 12km/Lt. and the alarming point is that it's without AC. I went to Suzuki they just did the routine check up and told me it will get better . Pls advise me any solution.

Check and change your driving style.
Use good quality engine oil
Change engine oil and air filter at appropriate time
Try changing the petrol pump

Some time you not get accurate petrol volume from filling station, I have new Mehran If I fill 500 petrol then get 12 Kml if I fill 12 liter then get 16 kml without AC.

Best practices is full fill car tank then run 10 km then aging fill tank from same petrol pump and note how much letters fill after consumption of 10 km then calculate kml..

Experts am I right ...

16-17 is as best as you can get. Don't expect anything more unless you drive with a very light foot.
Also, take into account what fuel you are using, a lower octane does make a small impact.
