My Mehran steering not going good. Replaced three kablis but all not good, stiff and hard. What to do? Should I go for a new one that cost Rs. 12,500?

Are tociko soft shocks available for the rear too, becuz I think front would not be enough.

kindly check first posts about rear kamanies in which a debate was going on about the no of kamanies
insert "nawar" material used to make charpaies in old days in the kamanes with proper lubrication with grease and ride will be good

did u checked the sterring box replaced were they repaired ones ?
a genuine kabuli sterring is lite and nimble but there might be another issue
check bushes in the sterring colum the part inside dash there are 2 rubber bushes some times they get worn out
and tire size matters if ur using 165/70/12 or 13' size then its normal to have a heavy stering

I have changed the whole steering assembly, the box and ends, m using 155/70/r12.

Yes, replaced all of this, the current one got this Sunday was in very good condition but when I reach home after driving for 16km my shoulders are in pain. Behaves stiff. + I changed column bushes last week. Checked the hubs by rotating them when steering was out, no stiffness there. Now I guess that problem is not with the steering, its something else which causes the steering to become stiff. Please help.

Apparently problem occurred when i replaced the left axle (both joints + rod) 4 months back with a kabli one. After that this problem started, I found a genuine Mehran axle and removed the kabli one. But same. Few days back the 2nd axle worn out and I replaced the outer joint (CV?) with the new one and the inner with the kabli one. I don't see axle sticking when rotating steering with the front tires lifted. Any other test I can perform?

well did u checked kabuli axels length and diameter of the rod as what i found later mehrans have less diameter rods
and CV joint of kabuli axel it might sound crazy but some times kabuli parts have old grease and they get stiff hard to rotate
once mechanic was fitting cross and cross kuppa the staright joint and i found the cross to be very stiff it wasn't rotating so i took out the stuff agian and got a replacement from the same shop checked it and i could rotate it even with my hands i think what happend is that Kabuli cv joint has lost its grease in it and during turning it gives resistance just take it out replace the boot and check grease in it that might be problem i say it will be a gamble if u replace the kabuli axle cv joint and check steering after that Chinese ones work good

The present steering was very soft with original grease.

Current axle is genuine along with outer cv. Only the inner joint is kabli which was fine when installed.

my mehran have no problem starts in half sulf in winters .............i did 135 km/h on it .......great pick......no problem at all......also its steering feels like power steering...is that a problem?

For a general tune up
1 Oil
2 Air Filter preferably Guard
3 Oil Filter Guard
for CNG setting all above plus Distributor point tappet settings plugs cleaning/ replacing
later i can write a full version

its fine and i think ur has 40Kg Cylinder like my mehran
and i think new Alto and mehran have same FF Cylinder 55Kg my alto gives around 170 till now and 5K tuneup hasn't been done now

Fuse must have gone wrong its just under the dash from drivers side no need to open the whole dashboard nothing needs to be opened its like 123 D:
