i hate that whenever i have to drive my car in atleast one feet depth of water the water starts to come inside and all the floor gets wet. i changet the stoppers but no use

whats the best way to get saved from water getting inside car? plz reply ASAP

i once drove my mehran in 2010 rains and floods
in 2 feet of water and even though car was struggling but water never came inside the car
as it had genuine stoppers installed

from where will i get those genuine rubbers?

i drove my car in around 1.5 ft of water and i realized that water was coming inside car

from last few days i am facing a strange problem in my mehran it is making tak tak sound from front right tyre, i went to mechanic and told to check it he said he'll do a test drive to check either wheel barring is finished or chimte ki golian are finished but when he tested it after it he changed to nuts of the axles saying the kabla of axle was slip and loose so i changed it but noise still comes and is more audible after 45km/h. What can be the problem? @ekdrifter

if it comesin staright drive then the staright wala kuppa of any axel is gone
if in corner then cv joint needs repalcement
if its on bumps then its due to worn out bhushings in suspension
and u say 45 km/h is the when sound start then staright cv joing or kuppa is gone repalce it

How much would it cost to replace geniune cv or kuppa

u can get new CV joint for 800 / side
and staright one are not available new u gota get a cross kuppa which is kabuli one
cost i think cross with kuppa one side is for 600 and 200 for kharadiya and fitting

my problems which are not being diagnosed properly by the mechanics

1. i changed both the axles and kuppa to new one (costed approx. 1200 per piece). however when i try to pick the car it vibrates in 2nd and 3rd gear, the vibrations remain their until speed of about 65-70 is attained. the mechanic is unable to diagnose the problem (solving is way too big thing for this issue).
2. after the use of about 5 months, one kuppa (left side) again started to give Tak tak sounds, so got it to mechanic who changed the complete axle (alongwith the axle shaft) however i retained the previous axle and axle shaft and it is available with me.
3. recently (after use of 5 months, approx 6000 km) the axle on the right side also give sligh tak tak sound when the steering is completely turned to one side.
4. recently i have observed that the gearbox is leaking gear oil from the small pipe that, according to mechanic, is their for releasing any air pressure in gear box.

This could be fault of gear box main gharrrrarri what mechanics call it i had simiar problem and later found out its due to gear box and thrn found that i was using bigger tires whicch caused alk.this
Get new cv joints for both sides and change mech
And im on cell phone now will write a full replyy tp your query sir

now let me get this
2 installed axelss make car vibrate till 70 i think the axels are bend and most 2nd hand ones are bent
its best to use the rod of cars original axel
sometimes rod in replacement axxel is different in thickness then what car came with standard
now as u say there is gear oil leak
check it again the bent axels might have cracked the axel seal in gear box
don't bother to open gear box as it will be not working as mechs know how to ruin gear box
what i suggest you is
1 change mechinc
2 if u got orignal rods then fine
3 take original rods and replace staright kuppa with cross kuppa
4 cv joint with new warranty walayy china CV joints
5 replace both axel seals with genuine ones
and reply if it works

they last longer
and are at same price

@ekdrifter, mehran is giving a problem. After driving it on petrol for a week about 400km today i put cng and on cng car just went mad. Mehran had zero pick and would shut off. It hardly touches 60km/h. On petrol its fine but on gas it gives jerks while accelerating. Last cng tuning was done in july. It has zero response on cng.

And i was using Zic A 10w-40 i just change the engine oil, oil filter, air filter. Now i have serious doubts on zic so if i use Caltex 20W-40 or 20W-50, will car give smoke or any problem? its 60k driven. Water throwing engine.

it needs CNG setting tappets etc and don't worry mehrans are jinnati cars if they are left parked for a few days then they are different cars then before do tappet tuning etc and july is was far away so do it again

well if u have doubts then change oil i buy from authentic source and never had a problem with zic quality and 60k driven and winters are coming so stick to 10W 40 and caltex is good oil buy form some authentic pump but 10 40 is ok we had a mehran 08 150k driven and still used zix 10 40 if u go for 20w 50 then be ready for early morning workouts by pushing the car
plus also change plugs ngk v power 400rs a set change ignition point 600rs for genuine one and if wires are not ok then change them 700 for set get it tuned by some good pro guys and 10W 40 is what u should stick

anyone used liqui moly? i've put 10w40 mos2 and car is quite smooth, acceleration/pick is better then earlier and starting is even better now. car is 13 mehru

Bro all things plugs point wires were replaced 4 months before. All original parts were used. I change my zic from zic service station in pindi. Is their any way to ensure authentic oil?
