I have the price list in which they did lower th prices . Will share in KIA thread.
By the way a huge plant within the KIA plant is under construction and its parts manufacturing, which includes injection molding which will make dashboards, bumpers, headliners, and many other items.
This is unlike other car makers like Atlas, Indus or Suzuki, who sublet the parts and buy it via suppliers and eventually result in lower QC.
In case of KIA , they will start making of parts on their own to keep the quality of the parts to higher standards.
Obviously there is no transfer of technology so, not all parts will be made locally while there will be still some parts taken from local supply chain.
They also mentioned that since launch of Sportage, they have not revised the price of their Sportage although the other car makers did increase it multiple times during the same time due to dollar fluctuation.
BTW, the KIA CEO and many of other top lot officials, everyday spend 30 minutes on Facebook KIA groups, Pakwheels groups on Facebook as well as THE KIA THREADS. I strongly suggest that any issues we face is posted there as, they do take action after reading stuff over these platforms. I can 100% confirm that because I was reached out by a high offical when issue of leaking from Kia Sportage was in discussion.
