A.O.A PW's my cg 125 1989 has given me too hard time since I purchase it :(. It's misfiring issue hasn't solved yet. Carburetor tuning is perfect(jets, float, idle etc etc)I changed it's1. spark plug2. filtercondenser4. magnet(genuine ND japan 91 model)Now my mechanic is saying that its the magnet plate winding that needs replacement, although its copper colour is still fine but he told me that when winding gets loosen then it needs to be replaced. So should I go with his decision???Or you guys have another opinions otherwise. @vicky, @aximaxim,
@vickytulla can help you. Did you checked fuel tank? Sometime water seeps into tank and results in Misfire.
We have CG125 expert @xarak he have kept many CG's and is official promoter of CG on Pakwheels.
I haven't checked it but I always fill fresh petrol and kept my bike under shed. So I guess this might not be the problem

Your bike is from 80's. Such a minor issue is no big deal. You have replaced almost everything. Tell your mech that you want this problem solved. Ask him kitna kharcha ayega. And tell him you will only pay if he solves the problem and gives you checking warranty of 1 week if possible.
I once filled petrol from Lahore station on way to islamabad. When i reach back i took out fuel filter and found water in it. Drained all the fuel and found half litre of water in 5 litres of petrol

Allah ka lakh lakh shukar hai Allah ne hamesha brand new bike se nawaza. The only used bike i had was a GS-500. Was a lovely bike but due to non availability of spare parts i had to sell it. Plus 1989 CG is having point system. 0 knowledge regarding point system. All i know is point system is a little tough to maintain.
Bhai agar mein nai bike lena chahun less than or equal to 125cc then what you would suggest. It must be excellent in terms of build, economy and comfort.and also tell me which local chonda 78cc is of best standard now a days
You being from Karachi agar Allah pe bharosa aur himmat hai tou go for CG-125 Euro 2. Euro 2 pe fire marna alag hei maza hai. Agar possible nahi phir GS-150. Mei Unique UD-125 recommend karta. Replica of CG-125. Price 58000. Unique 125 ka filal stock nahi aa raha market mei 2nd hand available hai. Chonda 70 mai best Unique hai. Best resale value and quality among all Chondas. 2012 mai Unique had some quality issues. 2013 mai phir kuch behtar hai.

You bikes Point needs adjustment nothing else...
If its converted to CDI, Your Plug gap or Pulsar gap needs to be adjust.. its a minor issue. I think ab tak ap nay sahi bhi kerwa liya ho ga ...

if the coil been losen out then once mechanic would do a try to fix it by poring elfi on the windings, its a hathora mechanic totka but getting problem in 1989 models coils is seems to be fair, i am quite sure your problem can be solve by replacing the coil by original coil....and i hope your mechanic already adjusted the point, kiu k miss firing point theek se adjust na ho ya mechanic se ho na rha ho tab bhi hota ha, jahan sab replace krlia ha wahan coil bhi krlain hope for the best
plate also replaced with ND genuine plate. Still problem persists should I now change it's Ignition coil?
yes it will be change for sure if it is faulty
