I've experienced the same. I believe this is due to under-powered engine mainly. Though, I've experienced little improvement in engine response with AC on after using LiquiMoli Fuel System Cleaner/Treatment. It improves combustion and throttling overall... so, engine becomes little more responsive.

turn off the A/C man. haha. that oughta get ek to its senses. ... just kidding. anyhow, consider following factors which increase load value on the engine:

1. engine health
2. oil status
3. transmission health
4. load in car
5. bearings of wheels
6. alignment
7. air in tires
8. exhaust system

but this is a general answer, not a specific one, u should hunt in this list thoroughly and will find the answer.

im having a facing a issue as I turned on AC my car ek wagon it seems like too much burden load on it and it does not accelerate as it normally accelerate without AC, also sometimes when AC is on it sounds like ghrrr.. ghrr. my question is, is it normal thing? or something is wrong in car? without AC my car runs fine.

Hello, I own ek as well. Plz take ur car to a reasonable mechanic and ask him to check the auto adjuster and compressor belt. If the belt is loose, the auto adjuster has some play in its revolving which create ghrrrr ghrrr sound. Also check the ac filter. It may be loose which can also create cabin noise, but I m sure it is auto adjuster noise. Plz let me know if you require more help.

Brother, use genuine air filter and iridium plugs.insha Allah affaaaqa ho jai ga. Genuine air filter is available at Montgomery road lahore.

salaam.. i have nissan otti 2011 .. i have same problem of irritating tentioner pulley noise..
i cant drive my car while ac on because it looses speed with that irritating sound.. thanx for your post.. i will change belt 1st tomorrow to 4Pk 1520
