as a matter of fact, i studied what was wrong. The AC was relocated to a different room and started working fine. Now, what was the change in before and after??
well, the first installation had a refrigerant pipe extension and that was done using a pipe with lower dia (either it was in pressure side or return, cant recall). but either way, it put load on the compressor OR it triggered the pressure safety switches on the Discharge or suction (from outdoor unit)
the issue would have been easily caught by a professional using sub-cooling / super-heat charts and observing anomalies. (refrigerant restriction).
in the later install, no extension pipe was used apart from the original 10ft, that came with the unit.
Over the past year, I have realized, No AC can perform upto full potential unless it has been setup using super heat or sub-cooling method, and the lines have been vacuumed to -28 before refrigerant fill.
