i have experienced the above myself dealing with Ufone and Warid at the same time and my problem was solved within 24 hours!

I have written a detailed complaint with proofs and sent it to the above email addresses.

its v strange and un-beleivable.
This is cheating and m sure that mobilink headofice wil resolve this issue.
The culprit should be fired or lisence of that franchise should be canceled.
Its a serious alegation on mobilink.

I was talking to my neighbor about this issue and he told me that exact same thing happened to him as well. He was also using Mobilink. He had the SIM jacket with him, so he got it back.

next time keep more people in cc as such your friends and family to be used as a witness if later reuired.

I am using Mobilink Jazz SIM since 2005. It was registered on my name.
I never switched it off as it was my main number.
A few times a person called me and asked me to sell my number to him but I declined because all my relatives, friends, co-workers, ex-class mates have this number.

Last night I saw that there were no signals on my cellphone. I thought that it is some network issue. Today when I woke up, there were still no signals. When I called my number from another phone, I heard a Punjabi caller tune. The same person picked up the call who used to ask me to sell my number to him. He said that it is now my number as I have the same number in other networks that is why I have bought it.

I called mobilink helpline (111) and they said that the SIM is registered to that person. I said I am using this number for 6 years, what kind of joke is it? He said that in my system I can not see that the SIM is re-issued. So you don't have any proof of it. I said that I have the dead SIM with me. He said that it is not enough.

Guys now please help me out. I want my SIM back. What should I do.
Mobilink has franchises in every city, every town and franchise has the authority to re-issue the SIM if the older one gets faulty or snatched. They have taken money from that person and issued my SIM to him.

i tell you the whole scenario. that person must have some contact in mobilink customer service centre and when he realized that you are not gonna sell your sim to him, he used an illegal way. he must have contacted a person who have rights to access your sim information and from there he cleared every thing and registered your number in the name of person who has your sim right now.

i know all this thing as one of my friend's cousin work in ufone customer service centre and he do all this nasty things.

so this is not any network company fraud but there employee is behind all this game.

he isn't my cousin, he is my friends cousin. really when he was telling me about the stuff his cousin do, i was just feeling like to do something but only i know about him is his name:( even he can tell in just seconds any girl home addresses through their ufone numbers and other details etc which is really so disgusting and can bring some serious problem to ones life

If They dont Reply go to their office and tell them if they dont listen tell them the details of the calls that you made and recharge history they can check and will register it to your name . try it may be this can help .

Same thing happened to my friend some months back.

Go to Mobilink Customer Service Center, In Islamabad its in Blue Area and tell them. They will definitely resolve the issue.

visit to the near by Mobilink office at Blue area etc
if sim was in ur name then there is no issue, if sim was not in ur name then there is some hindrance but i would suggest you to visit Mobilink office asap instead of wasting time on Net and abusing whole of Mobilink. your issue will be considered and shall be resolved if all the proofs u have...

But after just 5 minutes I noticed that I was not receiving the signals. When I called the help line they said its not your number, I was shocked. Then I called one of my friend at Warid franchise, he told me the name of Franchise who changed ownership. Straight way I went to that franchise with my company card (I was an employee of a TV channel). when I introduced myself not only they issued a new sim without any charges but also apologized for it. Even I traced the person who did that and launched a complaint.

It is crystal clear case - if the OP is claiming that he is the real/previous owner of the SIM and someone changed the ownership illegaly then he can re-issue it again and can log complaint to investigate it.

Being a previous owner - is enough.

Also if mobilink is saying that the SIM was never registered against his name then he can also re-issue the SIM by verifying frequent calls data and last rechage info - then register is against his name.

No one in mobilink can be smart enough to change the record at every level - as ownership detail is also there in PTA database which is shared by all operators on regular basis.

Just for info, can any legal action like FIR etc can betaken against employee/franchise/company?

I can get ur sim back. My fees is 7000rs. 3500rs now , 3500 when u get the sim.
