Got my number back (H)
Went to Mobilink office Blue Area Islamabad.
Told them the whole story at the customer relations counter. They were reluctant to solve the issue. But then I pressurize them and told them that I am going to PTA office, I was loyal to Mobilink and that is what you are giving me in return blah blah. I also showed them the old dead SIM card.
Then they sent me to another counter. The girl was very cooperative there. She checked previous call records and then compared them with my phone directory. Finally she issued me the new SIM card. She took 80 Rs for that.
I was amazed to see that there were a lot of other people with the same complaint. Mobilink has no control over its employees and franchises. Every one is selling the already active numbers. She told me that in order to be on safe side in future, tag you number. In this way, no one would be able to mess with your number.
I gave her my ID card copy and she told me that she has tagged my number. It will be tagged in 24 hours.
After that I said that I want an official complaint against the people involve. She gave me a form, I filled it up, and gave it to her.
Anyone else gone through this tagging thing?
