Moreover, i would strongly recommend you to not swap the motor into diesel... 1 - you'll always be fixing the engine foundations and mods....

2- you must have heard about increase in diesel price last night..

I would suggest a carb swap immediately with a super carry one... this black smoke is all because of poor carb...

I think too that its the damn carb, never got set. I'm going to open my my Zenith and have it serviced too. Lets see what happens of that.

Have you ever had alignment done on the Mutt ? Can anyone & everyone do it ?

yes i have done it and actually you have to do it if you abuse in driving on off road terrain actually.

moreover another cause of this play is because of damaged front suspension bushes.... check'em out as well..

same problem was in my rig but it was fixed after alignment of front wheels and then replacement of suspension bushes..

I would again insist for a carb swap with super carry.. beleive me this black smoke issue will be vanished and you'll love the pickup and smooth drive without any missings... get the chinese in 2600Rs. and check it out... but make sure that you keep the all exhaust, in / out pipes on stock places in oil bath...

Yeah yeah, no touching the oil bath & its lines in or out. I'll go for the carb, be it a chinese one.
The suspension bushes are all fine, had them checked last month & no abuse after that

This is the look of my mutt motor... mechanically its great..... i just have to do some of the painting jobs on the motor.. thats it..

you may take it to a 1000 miles drive with 5 minutes notice...

Sam - do you see a mod on oil bath lid?? i have bolted the lid with two joints... another issue of missing and carb eating dust is fixed coz of this mod.. ive placed a rubber gasket under the lid and bolted it on the oil bath....

this will fix most of the missing issues of mutt...

No issues here with the lid. Its pretty secure in place and the ring tightens well. I may change the big elbow hose though. Its gotten old.

Kamran, both are two different places. Golra is just going out of Islamabad, where Army junk yard used to be and is still there. Ternol is further down on GT road towards Texala, just after the railway track. If I remember the owner is Ch. Saleem, as I got a few things from him. and had mentioned earlier about trollys, as he had them.
