I guess the primary factor was making it useful as a gun platform, lowering the profile, avoid screen reflection and being spotted, fit into transport choppers and planes, stacking up for storage, transportation etc etc

I guess visibility was secondary as cleaning the screen in the field would be more of an issue.

In Pak Army, visibility is main factor of putting them down even on RKRs when in the field on exercise.

You mean to say the Oil Pressure guage ? Well it tells you how your engine oil is doing within the engine. When the engine is cold the pressure is a bit high, as the oil is thick, when it heats up to optimum levels it normalizes. So don't worry if the needle is high up on a cold engine.

But If the pressure needle goes beyond half in a hot engine, then it means that you are putting too much pressure on the engine (high revs) & that it might damage a few things like seals etc.

fuel is getting mixxed in engine oil the oil level is almost 1 inch above mark smells fuel need some adviced to fix it its all original m151a2. i do have carb problem

Fuel mixture in oil .... boy o boy... thats really something. Your piston sleeves and valves need to be checked.

I doubt the engine is working properly.
