I have swapped original engine with 2c diesel engine and it works great . the only problem i am facing is vibration.

Well, I'd say you came to the right place for a conversion question. The G838 guys would kill you for this
As for your query, the 2C is just marvelous with the original transmission and differentials. I say so because I had a conversion done for a friend on his MUTT.
One thing to note and and alter is the oil sump of the 2C. It makes the engine sit high, so you either put a scoop in the hood or simply fabricate the oil sump in a way that it all sits at the original height.

Unfortunately, hat not come across an Isuzu engine conversion here.

So one reason that i want to change my original engine to diesel is the high of the petrol price!!!Here 1litter=1,85Euros(A)(A)(A)(A)(A)(A)(A)

Also is possible someone to show us the all conversion??? I mean how he manage the original transmission with the toyota engine????As for the engine mounts???? Any fotos of the new ones?????
Now how it performs off-road???? Does it has enough torque??? The original engine has 172Nm torque and about 70Hp! What toyota engine has??? Torque????? Hp???????

using 2c with mutt gear will cause lot of noise and zero pick,use toyota corolla rwd diesel gear box,nutt will fly but no 4x4,btw im running 3sfein my mutt,wwith mutt gears(H)

I know, keeping reading & hearing about Greece now and then. Plans to come down there keep getting deferred too, but aiming for April next year (lets see)
Whats the price of diesel there ? Here it is now sitting at 0.87 euro a litre, up from 0.53 euro.
Now diesel and petrol are almost equal.

As for the engine, 2C produces 88hp, its very torquey as my friend hardly used the 1st gear, even in offroad.

You need to have a mating plate made for the engine and gear, I can look for some photos that there maybe, but since my friend has moved to Canada, it is highly unlikely to get hold of any.
Bobby9191 is another user who has done it. As for the vibrations, you can reduce those by replacing the bushes and all, but let me tell you that they WILL NOT GO AWAY TOTALLY. A cold diesel engine will rattle the steering column up and down, so be prepared for all that.

Have you thought about LPG conversion ? Do you guys have that there ?

Don't know if you know or not, but I sold mine :'(. Could not operate the clutch after my spine surgery.

Hmmm bad to hear u that u sold it!!!! Yes we have LPG and is the cheapest of all but I m afraid that puting in maybe reduce the horspower!!!!Anyway i will make a little more search about the isuzu diesel engine and of course the toyota!!!!

I recently acquired an M-825, and am in dire need of a mechanic familiar with MUTTS. I am crazy about jeeps but have no clue how to go about fixing them, i want to use it mostly for taking up to northern areas. The MUTT i bought looks like its in excellent condition, but i want to get it checked to make sure everything is smooth. Please help me find some enthusiasts in Lahore, and specialist. also i need to get a soft top put on it aswell.

Quick question, anyway of checking if the diffs are in working order before buying an army auctioned mutt ? and if the diff is messed up what are the options? as i understand a swap is not possible with other cars.

Ref. to your above request..... and as mentioned by qwertypoiu if he is referring to Shahid / Mushtaq workshop at Kora Stop Walton Road i would not recommend to them. As they do not have any knowledge about Mutts.

If you are living around this area then try visiting Waseem Autos (Wiki) at RA Bazar.
He is master in Mutts and will arrange all parts for you very easily.
