One question

You might have answered it earlier but are you using stock "Jhoola type" fuel pump or a newer one (Electrical)?

As far as i know and i can be wrong, electric ones came as after market originals, stock one was mechanical and was prone to break and bringing the car to a halt. Heard all this from old timers in workshops and one of our drivers who use to drive a Morris as cab in 70's

They might have confused moggie with some other car of that era maybe Opel or Fiat. Morris Minor came with the Electric Pump fitted on the right side of the battery (image pasted below), the only issue i faced with that was leakage of patrol which can be fixed by using the service kit from ESM (I got that from Mr. Ramzan), there was not change in the design from 1956 till 1970 & Variants of Morris Minor was fitted with the same pump.

Morrie seems to be getting ready for the beauty contest!!! Keep it up, you may want to repaint the front grill in the same color as the rims - just a suggestion

Where did you get the white side walls from ESM again or local purchase?

Nope the rear indicators have been temporarily fixed - the stock adjustment is like you said now on the "things to do list"

@Spectra, The minor 1000 was supplied with the electric type fuel pump. Morris 1100 came up with the choice of either mechnical or electrical fuel pumps. Now both 1000 minor and 1100 use the same motor, which clearly means the provision to install a mechanical fuel pump in a minor 1000 is there. In fact the slot where the mechanical pump can be installed is covered by plug on a standard Minor 1000.

Hi, Razak, yes she is getting ready :), the white Side walls are hunted locally, actually the same guy Mr. Ramzan behind this as well!

Regarding the Grill and Rims, I am little confused looking online for references as the Grill was Off-White in all Models and Rims were "Old English White". So far I am satisfied with the current combo, finally painter has given Moggie the appointment of coming Thursday to give the final touch and fix few scratches

Nothing Special Razak Bhai :), just two words, "Ok" & "Yes" on whatever he said, suggested or asked :). Regarding Moggie tyres, I have mentioned in my earlier posts that I was looking for 5/20/14 since ages & the package included fresh white walls, tubes & tyres. I think white walls are not hard to find item (may be I am wrong because I didn't hunted this myself)

Guys, ignore the number plate, it wasn't looking good without it & the Number plate wala is asking for more time to fabricate the same for Moggie (as per fonts and styling which of 60s era), number plate, stickers/badges which were mentioned in the following post will be done in this phase!
