Its nice to see that you managed good progress in a short time, moggie meet is confirmed on your next arrival.

Yes the Air Filter fabrication is in pipe-line, Once I go for it I will make sure that quantity is good enough to facilitate all Moggie owners :), I am leaving for Hunza over this weekend and hopefully this project will be carried out in the last week of March.

Haven't received the RIM back which were given away for the paintjob, just called the painter and he is saying that I can visit him today, lets hope that he has done the job as per my expectations!

Got rid of the UXO! Moggie is no longer running the Bomb (CNG Cylinder) and the centrifuge (regulator / kit). Recovered extra cash to zoop up!

Reached back from Hunza yesterday, called the RIM painter and he has given the new deadline of coming Thursday, he promised 3 days for this Job, this is how project time-lines slips...

i remember in early 90's these cars were too much in rwp taxis most of them and as a child i was curious to ever get a ride in one but that didn't happened

Moggie remained with Khalid Electrician all day today - indicators are now fully functional, wiper motor serviced, rewounded and working fine, I am so glad things are happening even when I am away. Going again this sunday for remaining electrical work. I know this thread needs pics

That's good going Razak, with indicators and brakes lights working the Moggie will pass the fitness test with high grades :). I was recalling the name of a Moggie expert (electrician), Mr. Zafar he is also in G-8 near Mr. Khalid's workshop, I didnt mentioned anything about him in my earlier posts. Mr. Zafar asked me a quesiton that why there are two orange lights in the Speedo Meter and I said its for indicating right and left turn

He corrected me that, the 2nd light is for the Oil Filter which tell that its time to change your Filter, he asked me to search for an Oil Filter Fittings which still have that connection left and I found it @ Liaqat's workshop. He did a great Job on Servicing up the wiring and made all connections geninune. Do visit him as well on your next visit, he has very good knowledge about moggies and can help in detailing.

Finally the RIMs are back, I am delighted to see the effort done by the painter in removing the old paint, and baking them with exact color code (they can do any color/design). He did took atleast 3 extra weeks but the result was really satisfying and deserved extra incentive

I didnt knew that knew that there are codes and number punched on the steel which are now visible (not in these photos as I took them from my cell)

my nana had morris 1956 model till 1995 and then sold it !!

it was in light blue colour !

Mine already has the filter warning sending unit, just needs to be engaged! Thanks for the tip, I will visit Zafar's workshop when I am in Isloo next

@Hasnain3958, Should have kept this car in the family which has served the family for 39 years, it was Moggie's time to be served for 39 years

An Interesting find: While attempting to fix the rear lamps my electrician was treated with a scock as he removed the lenses. There was one bulb with one holder on the left side and two bulbs and two holders on the other - the correct fitting for a 62 or earlier model is one bulb on each side for brake light, indicator and parking. This is controlled by a small regulator switch installed besides the wiper motor in the engine bay. Due to lack of availability of replacement parts, our electricians usually discard the regulator and install an additional double point bulb.

Mr. Fatah Ullah Khan (my elder brother) was supervising the complete resto project, sourcing of parts, handling denter & painter, re-doing the engine & transmission and interiors (selection of stuff to go inn), 100s of visit to Rawalpindi and hours of hard work has paid off.
