It is very sad but true, a number of Moggies were chopped in the 80's for a few dollars more.... the ones surviving are mainly in possession of enthusiasts... Gone are the days when one could find them languishing around - dime a dozen. But there are some crazy owners still who have left their possessions to rot beyond salvage.

Any idea if Khadim Battery Works still exist in Gawalmundi? They used to refurbish all sorts of batteries - some of them were done by using the black plastic covers of EXCIDE and LUCAS batteries. My moggie's battery is due for replacement, I was wondering if I could get a LUCAS battery box to fit another battery inside.

I am looking for a donor car for my new project, do PM me details, rear right and front fenders are not looking great I can see rust on left front wing as well :(. Anyways, lets see if this can help in saving another Moggie!

No doubt & keeping in view its reducing numbers, its an emerging as a classic in Pakistan!

This is a worth saving car, can turn out to be a good project if done all stock. There would definitely be rust but its floors can be done (atleast in Rawalpindi the place to restore Moggies) People of Karachi wake-up!

Mohsin Bhai, help needed to locate the 1s in Karachi & Lahore. I haven't heard of them before, I remember there was a (restored) convertible in Islamabad I saw on a Dawn expo in convention center or ITP show in Fatima Jinnah park, I hope that car is still in Pakistan.

My convertible is awaiting fenders, rest of the body work is completed, will be sharing pictures very soon!

With diminishing moggies and there spares, Oil filter has also became hard to find item which I remember buying at Rs. 20/- for my car 4 years back. Here's a solution, There is a local "Adam Pickup" (similar to Shehzore), its diesel filter is similar in dimension to Morris Minor 1000. Excel is the company making these filters and paper quality was very good as well:
