This is owned by Neurosurgeon, VCCCP member Lahore Chapter. Very nicely kept and one of the few surviving low light down model Moggies!

I wanted to see this Morris minor uptil where it has reached and what condition it is in now and in Rawalpindi or in Lahore still?
Round 25-30years back my father went to buy this Morris from a bishop and it was also standing in the church i guess so it might be the same car.

This is a worth saving car, can turn out to be a good project if done all stock. There would definitely be rust but its floors can be done (atleast in Rawalpindi the place to restore Moggies) People of Karachi wake-up!

Members from Karachi,Rawalpindi and Lahore tell me something that how much of these two door coupes are still alive in Pakistan or in mint condition.It's the starting model from 1961 after the shape was changed.If any picture's of them do please share.

@Swan345, I heard from Ramzan that the car has reached Pindi & that was the same car 25 years ago. My visit to woody is pending, will share the updated pictures once I see it in real!

I have been away from DIY forums, was focusing more on BeeMog (Unimog) from past few months. Anyways, here’s a pleasant news, a lucky guy has found another Morris Minor traveler in Pakistan, it is being restored by Ramzan. The ride has lots of work to be done, first of all its rear bed side walls are covered with steel body which will be removed, followed by new wooden frame of ash wood and then rest of the body work and chassis repair.

Absolutely top condition, the rear bumper seems different, I havent noticed that if its really like this for this model. Rear number plate light will add good value, simplest solution is to get the rear light of landrover which has exactly the same shape but its in plastic, use its internal mechanism and original cover can be procured from Ramzan!

I would be keeping a quarterly follow up on this project, I am also looking forward to the ash wood panels local fabrication, that's one of the most critical task!

1954 Renault Hino PA54, this was when Hino was producing cars for renault in Japan, later on Hino changed the styling and they came up with Contessa which won many grand prix races in US!
