Try Liqui Moly Racing 4t 20w40(german mineral oil)..COsts pkr 650 for 1L..Available at LM brand store in i 8 markaz...Drain interval 2k kmsfor 125 i think(if that is the recommended drain interval by honda)

Lm is in an entirely different league..I have used caltex havoline 20w50..it is not great but does the job

Thanx for the advice, as its winter now so shud I use Lm 20w50 or 10w40, however I saw that most members here recommend 20w50
As my bike is new, just 400 km done so I dont want to do experiments on it for now :-p.

20w50 is for summer 10w40 or 5w40 is recommended in winters

Actually I had read all the post of this thread I was jst asking that if any members had used lm in their cg euro 2, I want some real life experience not the one mentioned in theory, as zic is also a top class imported oil but its not suitable for cg euro2, I hope u understand

then why synthetic engine oil is made for then if they start leaking from seal

if u doesnt give time to engine idle then seal leaks in winter

Bhai they have very refined molecular structure(similar and small)..Minerals have variable molecular structure..If the synthetic oil is not specifically made for motorcycles it should not be used in them..Car oils have extra additives which have negative impact of wet type clutch plates..LM 5w40,10w40 are available for cars not motorcycles so i avoid using them. 10w40/10w50 mineral is enough for winters.

I have euro 2 shud I use 10w50 or 20w50 ?
As I mentioned before that I dont want to do experiment as my bike is in break in period. ,I just need a authentic advise.

Meri jaan tension kaai ki? Aap break in AHL,SGO,Caltex a kisi bhi good brand say complete karo..Kyn kay aap nai oil 300-500 kms baad change karna ho ga to mehangay oil par paisay zaya karnay ki koi zarurat nai..Aur chunkay aap pindi main rehtay ho subah temps low hotay hain..To bike ghar k andar park karain if possible..Baqi 20w40-10w40 both will suffice..there are no good quality 10w40 oils available anyways.Main abhi bhi LM 20w50 use kar raha hn..It works flawlessly..

liqui moly is having products for motor bikes clearly its stated under the motorbikes/scooters section

if your theory is considered then why the company have such product offering.

it is not possible that the company that makes engine oil will fool there customer by offering a synthetic product that isnt viable for

the respective customer

they have three range fully synthetic ,synthetic , and mineral one all for 2 and 4 stroke motor cycles

I had changed first oil at 300km, nw m thinking to change oil at 600 km with LM 20w50. lets c what happens

Bhai meri post ghor say parhain..The only oil of brand LM available in pakistan for motorcycles is LM racing 4t 20w50..Also what you also have to consider is the general usage and the motorcycle type(touring,racing,commuting),for commuters they are cheap rides and should be dealt accordingly..The synthetic oils are expensive and are meant for expensive rides..A 5w40 fully synth bike oil would cost around 1800 pkr..Are you willing to drain such an expensive oil after mere 1-1.5 k kilometers?THe answer is NO..For commuting bikes there is no need whatsoever to invest in expensive oil brands..Price/performance factor should always be considered in this regard where LM 20w50 mineral fits well..If you have a cbr or gsx then surely one must invest in a synth..After all you need to protect your investment.

Also regarding synthetic oils as they are artificially synthesized from chemical compounds rather than crude oil..They are popular for maintaining their viscosity for higher intervals and are used specifically for longer draining intervals..

A synthetic oil has 5-6k kms + drain interval..Now for our local bikes max allowed drain intervals are 2-2.5k kms (excluding 70s they have 1k)..SO tell me bro you buy a costly synthetic oil for 1.8k rupees which has a capacity to last 6k kms only to drain after 2k kilometers because the bike is not designed for longer drains..IS that not a waste??

It is always advised to gain some knowledge beforehand discussing about an topic..ANd yes synthetic oils will leak in older engines.The oil will aid in in cracking gasket and seals..

Fully synthetic oils are an over kill for commuting bikes..Max i would recommend are semi synthetics..

just for your knowledge in single cylinder OHV and OHC engines the debris from engine operation is so much that you can not ectend your drain interval beyond 1000Km, and with oil filter like in my GS beyond 1500Km
these oils are meant to be used in latest bike engines which are designed for using fully/synthetic oils Take a break kid

i have honda cg 125 e2...sb sa phly mn is mn honda oil use krta tha... but after 15km of continus riding bike thak jata or differnt type ke awaizn aana start ho jate thn... us k baad mn na sirf ak dafa havoline try keya but satisfied nahe hova.. phir LM racing 20w50 use keya or abi tk vohe he use kr rha hon .. is oil par 7ookm chal chuka ha ...or mn fully satisfied hon ....... but in winter planning to chang

You are changing it after how long? I believe it will peform pretty well during winter.

just coz of winter ..... kw k mn isb rhta hon or yahn ka tempratur winter mn kafi down ho jata hai.morning time starting problem na ho or mn koi experienced to hon nahe jis ko sb pta ho but i think k 20w50 thck oil ha cold start mn engin k parts damag na ho jain.... i think ....
