pros of nitrogen
stable under high exertion while cornering(you and I wont feel that in our regular cars)
does not reduce nor increase pressure, so far since i have filled all tyres have remained at 30psi despite car not being used this much, in this time period i notice with regular air it used to decrease 4psi, similarly on motorway 2psi increase was observed with air but no increase whats ever with nitrogen so down need to regularly top up tyres especially if you dont drive a lot and more safer under high temps on motorway
pure nitrogen has no water vapour so no moisture which can be found when filling normally with air, this helps to elongate the life of rubber as well as stopping any corrosion on rim surface so supposedly better protection.
supposedly better fuel eco but i have felt no difference in fuel economy
car to drive does feel slightly lighter and doesnt seem to slow as quickly say when you take out foot off the pedal at 80km/h than before but i could just be imagining it.
definitely more satisfaction knowing you are failing the best stuff in the tyres, formula 1 teams exclusively use nitrogen in all cars and races so there has got to be something behind it.
cons
you wont really feel a difference much in daily driving
international reviewers say results vary deepening on place where you get nitrogen filled from, it has to be 100& pure otherwise it'll make no difference at all. in my case the machine first deflated the type pump nitrogen to full then again completely deflated tyre and again pumped nitrogen did this couple of times until only pure nitrogen was filled.
its expensive at 1k for first fill including spare tyre but i was told subsequent top ups are cheaper. not enough bang for buck
only one filling station in lahore and i dont know of any islamabad, so inconvenient until there are more places top fill up nitrogen
overall i have nitorgen in 4 out of 5 cars at home but honestly its not a big deal dont really miss anything when i get in the other car.
