i also had brake service performed and i coudnt believe toyota were using petroleum grease on slide pins, they say they use it all the time even at 10k km in a brand new car never had a issue. coudnt believe them so raised the issue with the senior levels of management and they admitted that they have repeatedly asked for silicone grease to be provided for by indus but get the answer thats economically too expensive, so as a precaustion they were saying they apply very little and away form rubber parts and usually have no issues.
so what they recommended me to get was a caliper kit which they had from toyota japan, among other things it contained red packet of silicone grease, the kit was expensive at 5k rupees but its worth it if you cant find silicone grease seperately compared to the cost of destroying your brake system.

i only wanted the grease but decided to get the other things changed anyway as couple years back before me the car did have toyota service history which included brake services so at any one time petroleum grease had already been there even though later i started using silicone grease and now the 4 rubbers you see inside the silver ring had detoriated,
while changing the caliper kit over noticed that the pistons were slightly scarred but not leaking and one was worse than the other, maybe due to wrong grease? so the in the interest of safety got two new brake pistons as well

old things removed from the caliper then it was taken for cleaning as it was just caked with dirt.
i took my own vernier caliper and measured the discs in front of them and they were found to be within spec otherwise if you just ask the the condition of the disks their favorite thing is to say to get them tooled without ever measuring them or asking if they felt while braking that they were wraped etc which mine werent. hand brake was also adjusted

got to know many parts of old models they now refuse to order like radiator, any body part such as grille, bumper etc and even brake parts, they would instead outsource form local market
and people complain about Mercedes, at least with shahanwaz i can get every single part and seal and nut and bolt brand new from germany for my much older car, and you cant for a locally produced toyota.
brake fluid was changed earlier this year so didnt need to flush it again but since caliper was removed even after clamping lines some fluid was lost so flushed it again using a pressure bleeder.
also used liqui moly anti rattle grease on the back of the pads, toyota didnt have their own unlike Mercedes, picture pending
that was the brake service done, took over 3 hours but its worth it as now its much more safer, should have a much more long life and braking feels so much more positive.
