My budget is 600K max. I wish to purchase a 1990-1991 model SWB with Intercooler turbo. Manual preferred. If I spend the whole of 600k, I will not be left with any money for upgrading. It will then be from salary to salary

Refrain from buying a NCP vehicle. The custom authorities are out in full force. Unless you have very very high connections or are a politician holding office. Shy away from the idea.

Pajeros are a bit rare, but whatever the price of a legal one, a good ncp vehicle costs at 65% of the price of a legal one. So if a gdi is for 18, ncp would be around 10

This is for 7-10 lacs based on condition. I know a few people with pristine condition vehicles but won't give them up for even 10 lacs.

The auto is very fuel thirsty, this is the market price for a loaded 80 series ncp.
My father always says "pokh maal walay dhora Kay" aka why do you want to waste away something that is legally yours, or something like that. In other words, why put your money at risk with an ncp when one can afford a risk free legal vehicle
