There is another rest house right next to it called the DIG house and their room rate was at 8000/- .. That too has to be booked by someone from police
PTDC condition looked pretty bad from the outside.. so we didnt bother to go there
there is a hotel right beside PTDC called Greens hotel..that hotel is good.. their rooms looked good and a better conditon.. their cost was 8000/- per night
Then known good conditioned hotels of Kalaam are honeymoon hotel and new honeymoon hotel.
their room rates were also topping between 8000 to 12000
if you go at off season (or non eid days) pretty sure you will get half of those rates
