GT road Nowshera to Peshawar.Speed varied b/w 60-70-80.

This is not a practical average of City. You got it due to sloppy road. On a flat road, you won't get more than 15,16

Actually it's too hard for me to keep my car under 120. Lol. 120 pe cruise pe it gave 16.3 kpl with a few bursts upto 160. Haven't got the chance to keep my car at 80-90 and monitor the average. Will try it when I get the chance to drive it on highways

Well this is what I got
And road wasnt sloppy Sir,and if it was sloppy my AVG should've dropped to 15-16 when coming back from peshawar because it should be the opposite of sloppy now.but it was pretty much straight.
Will update tomorrow InshAllah about AVG on motorway at 120.

It's my GLI M/T
Using 100% HOBC without ac from Lahore to Islamabad via M2...
Tbh the average speed was 70-90 kmph.. This was the first time I took the car near 120 in the trip yesterday... And by calculating manually.. No of kms divided by litters of fuel tank full to tank full, I got 15.1 km/L to be exact with HOBC with avg meter to be near 16...
Can't beat a city in terms of performance drive fuel economy and power but GLI is more comfortable.. .

Sir my advice would be to not use HOBC unless its recommended for your car which it isnt.Putting HOBC will only waste your money because your car can run on normal fuel which in Pakistan is 92 RON as standard.
If you don't believe me please do some searching on Internet.

From Peshawar to Islamabad Motorway.
One thing which I am sad about is that tire pressures weren't t right the whole time and I came to know when I came to Islamabad.
And secondly wheels weren't aligned and there was a balancing issue too because there was a BURRR feeling when car touched 100 & above which might indicate rims aren't balanced properly.
When exiting peshwar checked tire pressures and they were high so they got lowered.when I reached islamabad and then again checked the pressures they were down about 2 PSI then I came to know that the air pump in Peshawar want right and has caused a somewhat lower fuel average.
Anyway 17.5 is great to be honest with 50 % AC with speeds b/w 100-120 mostly on 110 rarely below 110

Have you guys noticed that City AT is doing 110km/h at approx 2300 RPMs and GLI MT is doing the same speed at 3300 RPMs. Hmmmm

GLI in the above pic is Manual and City is Auto. Hence, manual always have higher RMP

I usually pit hobc too for the fear of cat_con choking up early. Are my fear correct ya paise zaya kar raha hoon

Brother I'm using HOBC because when I use ac with the GLI with regular fuel, the car's throttle response is so much reduced and if feels like it's alot underpowered but with HOBC that feeling is a bit less... Anyways car gives better km/L with HOBC....
Never got more than 13km/L with regular but getting 15 with HOBC....
I'm satisfied

Brother you are seriously wasting your money.
Put regular petrol.
I have drove corolla with same engine for 240000km
I.e 2.4lac km. All regular fuel used just change oil after every 5000km. Shell 10w40 yellow box and
Belts etc

Hobc will only help engine if it knocks on regular fuel.
Yes hobc will also help in catalatic converter protection from jamming in jdms.
But our corolla uses 19 90 nd early 2000 technology.
Their engines are old. So regular fuel rocks there.

My 1.8 Altis has the newer engine. It never knocked on regular fuel. Haven't yet used HOBC nor planning to

Brother no offence but just for your info your
dual vvti engine which you are calling latest technology is 1st used in 1998 by toyota.
Dual vvti technology is that old.
New engines are honda 1.5 turbo..
And other earth dreams engines of Honda.
Toyota is now producing valvematic engines as well as turbos in their latest format.
They give us old absolute stuff.
Which is good for our local substandard regular fuel
