120-102 just feels bad So the 120 on ImranBhatti's bike was also actually 102 only??

So that proves it.. hmm!
It means GS's topspeed is no better than cg125's? the one extra horrse is there is to barely manage pulling the bike's own heavier weight?

But buddy that high weight improves bike stability at high speeds..So we can consider it as a plus..CG can be pushed till 110 but maintaining that speed is not easily possible..But that bike GS it does it like a charm..I am very impressed
@gul_s_777 COnsidering your bike is still in break in period..I think your top speed may improve after 1500 Kms

Many riders claim that EURO2 bikes are unable to achieve 105-110kms/hr on Deluxe/CG and now same case is with GS because its also EURO2 now, lets wait for Jadoon's GS speed test...

we don't have many CG125 Euro2 tested as well, i achieved 105Km/h on a CG125 Euro2 but on slopy road, didn't get the chance to check it properly on a flat road but i think it could do 100 on flat.

Its headlight is same as CD100, Piaggio ? Or some quality difference?

you are talking about meter reading, right??? i was talking about GPS recording, when i recorded 105 on GPS, meter was at 112Km/h as well.

Yes meter reading not GPS but not a big deal will check on GPS.

bad move sir, you should have not tried redlining a engine which only did 5ookms untill it was born.. what was the RPM on 4th gear and 5th gear...

and donot jump to conclusion that bikes maxout on 102 thats not true.. I have tested gs my self it is bad at ACCELRATION but rest assured 4th gear 8k RPM and you still have half a throttle to smoke...

Let the engine break in untill 1k and then set the mixture rich (but not that rich so that it start choking the bike) and test it on a "famous" one mile test ... you will see it horsing above 110kmh (atleast)

With 500+Km on odo, and first oil change done,

Meter readings as follow
Meter 40 = 36 GPS
Meter 60 = 55 GPS
Meter 80 = 72 GPS
Meter 100 = 86 GPS
Meter 120 = 102 GPS

and yes, not concluding anything yet. When i pushed it, it went straight to 115Km/h(meter), and then struggled a little to achieve 120. So i am definitely hoping for 10-15Km/h increase with time.
If i remember you achieved 120 on GS at 11K RPM. that seems about accurate as its top gear ratio is 0.913. But there are posts showing 120 at 9K RPM only, i guess like mine they also had inaccurate meter.

yes, and the point is that it really has to reach 11k, and gs 150 engine 11k is unstoppable to reach high speeds.. and given ur bike is brand new it would be easy for her to horse up to its redlines.

yup, this tyre is good for both dry and wet conditions....
there were DSI and IRC 100/90-18 also available, but their tread design was more sporty type which isn't good for wet road so i went with this one

@guls777 COnsidering your bike is still in break in period..I think your top speed may improve after 1500 Kms

and my meter needle will be well beyond 120 then...
wish i could do something about it...

O__o really .... I happen upon to match them side by side, but didnt found them different... even numbers on them and make was also same, it seems both have sourced it from same source, may be there are few models of CD100 who have different ?

CD-100's headlight is relatively bigger tan piaggios

checked with 5 litre petrol
(this also included a 20Km ride in hilly area, and about 5Km on the road like this :))
