Thinking to change the rear rim with deluxe rim, as current rim feels kind of small for this big tyre, making the tyre baloon like.
What u guys think ?
Is it compatible completely? Anyone knows the price of deluxe rim.

though i already knew that deluxe rim is wider, but today got the chance to examine closely, and it felt quite a bit wider than my stock rim, and 90/90 tyre on deluxe rim was very well fit, tyre's side walls were straight, not bent to inside making it baloon like. so yeah, it will cause tyre to make even better contact with ground and will result in more stability and grip.
any idea about rim price???
i might change it on my first tuning.... i am having good feeling about this.

i have not seen GS rim baaqi Deluxe's rim is much wider in contrast to Pridor & CG rim

also the brake drum of deluxe is much bigger than gs150 ... u would need to change the rear brake assembly as well ...

i think you should not feel any brake issue with rim change
it would work with stock GS brake assembly
R1 had installed deluxe rim & tyre in his CG
& he had not changed brake assemsbly it was stock CG
According to him he was not facing any breaking problem
breaks were working good for him

Genuine rim would cost you around 1.5k.

Most of GS users are using Kawasaki GTO125 front suspensions for disc brake setup.

what was the RPM on 4th gear and 5th gear...

and donot jump to conclusion that bikes maxout on 102 thats not true.. I have tested gs my self it is bad at ACCELRATION but rest assured 4th gear 8k RPM and you still have half a throttle to smoke...

checked again now that bike has done 900Km,
5th gear @ 9K RPM = 100Km/h (meter)= 86Km/h (GPS)
5th gear @ 10.5K RPM = 118Km/h (meter) = 100Km/h (GPS)

agree about lot of throttle left to smoke at 8K RPM, but after half throttle, you twist more but it has less effect on RPM/speed.

I guess brake drum would not require to be changed, however the size of wires used would be changed..

hehe, i know that you would like to read that i had to brake. but that's not the case.
that's what it maxed out at today. may be more air resistance
now what i am wondering at that my bike do 100 at 9K RPM which still is pretty inaccurate... then what about the bikes doing 120 at 9K RPM???

Auto bro,
100 is practical reading, maintained on a flat road while sitting straight,
i could go out right now, and drag the bike on slopy road with head down and will most probably get to 108Km/h but that would mean nothing ...
