Sorry to say Ppl coming with HID are either paindu or showbaz or idiots with baap kamai.....thats what i have observed. so the simple solution is to give them way, becuase they will never understand how much pain they give to the cars in their front and the incoming traffic. And notice one thing, most of the HID users are corolla owners .....

all corolla owners are not like this. One solution for this is to get some JDM rear view installed (mostly from old toyota vehicles) from plaza market with Day and Night driving modes. You just flip the mirror and all the glare is gone. These shops at plaza fabricate adapter for the car so that the mirrors can fit.

Got those mirrors installed in a Daihatsu Charade about 14 years ago. But saw the same shop in plaza magazine line Karachi fitting similar mirrors in a Mehran recently.

my earlier car had that flippy switch to neutralize the high beam from following car. but in alto it gives me migraine. i am looking for a cheap way around.

Checked the Japanese Alto of my cousin, and sadly it has similar mirror as that of the PKDM version. Will now try to check the higher grade versions like the RS and Works edition.

All Alto versions including Turbo Rs and Works Edition have same rear view mirror

Nope they dont sadly. These are economy cars so they have to cut costs somewhere after giving features like traction control, headlight adjustment, rear wiper, eco idle, anti collision assist.

After these features, I think they wouldn't have saved a lot of bucks with removal of this small feature

Yeah very little saving but combining all the little savings makes a difference.
For example fenders are made up of fiber glass not metal
Unpainted Engine Bay only primer
No Spare Tire
Unpainted door handles on lower versions
Thin door panels plastic
Fixed grab handles not those which fold up
Etc etc ...
Adding all these up and more which i dont know would make somewhat savings.

You can clearly see 1 lac difference between alto and wagon r and the reason is these small things like tray under neath the seat, rear headrests, rear reclining seats, rear 50:50 split seats, rear adjustable seats, lights with sun visors, standard climate control, powered mirrors. These are small things which amount upto 1 lac easily i guess

Fibre fenders are used to reduce weight and they are not cheap. go to market and compare prices of availabe fibre and metal fenders.

All new cars especially KEI cars are coming mostly without spare. there is a puncture kit and an air pump given by company.

all small japanses cars are now coming with thin plastic panels to increase the inner space.

I think the cost is only higher for JDM cars are their fiber fenders are not easily available and kabli mein tou bhi phir har kissi ki apni marzi hai jitnay paisay mangay. Additionally they cant be repaired to OEM spec as metal fenders can so demand high hai unki availability less.

Market mein local cars k liye spoiler, body kits dekh lain fiber glass ones are way way cheaper then ABS plastic bodykits.

easy not a big task. if namda not available, then buy the grey foam sheet which is available with carpet wala. remeber dont buy the thick one, 1-2 mm will be enough.
