It won't void the warranty I believe, my friend even changed the complete multimedia unit of his GLI complete with front and back camera, and there was no issue with warranty.
Bhai electrical mechanical etc etc warranty issues are there. Even if u change the headlight bulbs ur warranty gets void (but only for those systems which are affexted by the change). E.g. if u get power from the ABS system for something additional after market accessory and there is anything wrong with the ABS system .... ur ABS will not be replaced under warranty since u tempered with it (be it anyway).
So if ur getting ur unit changed u are voiding warranty of everything which is somehow related to its wiring. But changing the alpine unit wont void ur engine's warranty. Hope u understand

He sold that car later through toyota T-Sure... And it was in their knowledge what changes have been done. Khair that's a separate issue. I just want to know if the night view can get better with the change of camera or not or the quality is limited by the car's multimedia?
If you are talking about 1.6 reverse cam quality younshould.get it checked or get updated software. I got my car last week and its camera is flawless and works like a charm in day and in night timr

The problem is night view can't be checked at dealership as it is open only during the day. Anyways I will ask them to check for any improvement.
